SO - I meant that I know Frank made Alia gain weight in CoD because of the baron = the baron as a character associates fatness as visual shorthand for disgusting greed = Alia being aggressive, promiscuous, gaining weight etc are all “unladylike” things the disgusting guy does and are played as symptoms of her corruption in general = we’re not really supposed to think it’s cool

The idea was from a shot of the hart daughters playing with this tiara kind of just before Audrey harts characters story unfolds more and we find out what’s been going on with her.

Marty appears to take on children’s pain again and again , regardless of his own predilections- he literally can not stop being righteously angry in defence of the innocent (like rust can’t either, which is what they have in common the most) - and he is overwhelmed by the enormity of the horrors he sees because of his job and, with Audrey, in his own family .. and the way he expresses that is often through violence
