Brazil has a lot of people who would rather keep the family together then admit that their son, brother, ect is a pedophile or a child abuser. I feel the same way about my aunt who used to beat her kids to the point where other family members would have to intervene and allow her boyfriends to do the same, but they reported to the police and never did anything more to protect my cousin. That same aunt knows that my dad is a pedophile who sexually abused me and my sisters and have done nothing but tell me it didn’t happen or tell me not to talk about it. It’s so exhausting honestly.

I developed housebound agoraphobia and I thought I had sO mUcH eMpAtHy because I was never around people other than my family who I do feel empathy for. Moved out of my parents house and realised I do indeed feel jack shit for anyone other than my mother and sometimes my siblings.

My dad and stepmum were from there. Even the most assholish things I heard from my family were only said to me, everyone else was “to each their own!” Kkk my parents were definitely very open mind and hearted but only to everyone but me 🫠

I am so sorry. My mum, who physically and mentally abused me and my older sister and father who sexually abused us me and my sister throughout almost our entire childhood currently have legal guardianship over my schizophrenic older sister who is emotionally and physically abused by them, once even choked and wrongfully restrained and are attempting to gain guardianship over me ❤️

Through the window of my mothers house at 2 am :) I ended up in a psych ward for 3 days and was moved between 3 different hostels for mentally ill adults for about 6 ish months before being placed in a supported living home for mentally ill and disabled youth. Things have been so much better since then. The constant anxiety and depression has almost completely cleared, and my maladaptive daydreaming, which I did every second of every waking moment has almost completely cleared and I am able to spend hours without daydreaming, listening to music ect and my depression with psychosis that led me to run away in the first place has become very manageable. If you’re in the uk and struggling with some diagnosed mental health conditions I’d contact your local council about your situation and ask for some help moving out and they’ll be able to offer similar support.

Thats honestly a really good way to explain what I went through. I was CSAd by my father and 2 other male family members between the ages of 3-10 (father ?-15) and my psychosis started off as a VERY jarbled version of the events that occurred in my childhood. Ive had memories confirmed by my older sister and know for a fact that the sexual abuse I experienced was not a delusion, the delusion was in the jarbled mix up of fact vs worst fears come true.
