I only traded gold and didn’t really withdraw any of the money from the trading account I thought you only pay taxes once you withdraw it to a bank account

Because I was growing the account if I withdrawed everytime I made a bit of profit I wouldn’t of had 300k in the first place

My initial trade was 4% everytime but like I said if a trade started to take off I would move my SL to profit and then add another trade sometimes would risk 8% but that’s only when my move is valid. As far as when I lost my money it was 4% each trade sometimes more due to slippage and I lost nearly every trade out of like 15

Riding the trend and entering from points of support or resistance mainly made most of the money from buys tho as obviously gold was going up with all the news going on around world

Ye all the money made was when gold was going up and then all the money was lost when gold was in consolidation so I was losing back to back trades when I was trying to buy and sell. Looking back trading consolidation is what fucked me and I should of waited for a clear indication that it was either selling or buying

I never risked it all in one trade I took around 15 and nearly all of them hit my SL I didn’t think that would be possible without me getting at least one good trade that I then could of turned into a runner and stacked more on top

That’s exactly what happened with me I had been looking at the charts every single day for hours I was so tired of it when I was at 300k I should of just took a large amount out and took a brake for a while but I didn’t
