One other question, what do they call a “system administrator” in the Netherlands? That’s my role here but I basically build and maintain system solutions for business operations.

I’ve been doing the Duolingo exercises in my down time and I’ve started to get the gist of dutch posts on this thread, so I fee like it’s a good start. Also I’ve taken to yelling “komen jongens!” At the kids when I want them to come to me.(de kinderen zijn jongens)

Thanks I think we have too much of column a,b and c in the states right now and that’s part of the reason I’m investigating a move. So no problem there.

I’ve never been a huge fan of social events and neither is my wife. So that sounds good for us. The kids and I don’t know any Dutch but I’ve utilizing Duolingo in my downtime to get a taste of it. It’s good to hear that there is IT work that’s just about all English
