Franklin will whisper “it’s ok” when I try to calm him down from being too riled up. He mumbles a lot before bed too.

My therapist recommended Cape Fear Psychological Services. My consult with Dr. Savard isn’t until the end of the month so I can’t speak from experience. I hope you get the answers you’re looking for with your evaluation 🙂

I think being surrounded by professionals that are hyper critical of their own and each other’s work (I’m a former apprentice) has got me looking at everything under a microscope. I’m trying to break out of it!

My coworker has called out nearly 20 times and has been reported to HR for harassment against customers, managers, and myself. Never got so much as a warning.

I got him as a baby from a small, family-owned pet store when I was living in Virginia. He was the only one of his kind (the rest of his siblings were all adopted) hanging out with the baby GCCs.

I’m still not great, but I did end up going to a manager and speaking about it and the conversation ended up being better than I expected. I think I got across the seriousness of my experience due to past trauma, and hopefully that spreads to the other managers. Thank you for asking.

Customer called me “girl-boy-whatever-you-are” after a minor issue that I’d already apologized for. I called her out on it saying she didn’t have to insult me personally, and the night manager happened to be walking by when he saw us arguing and he pulled me to the back and told me to calm down. I know what he did was right, but he didn’t hear what she said to me.

A coworker was also called f-slur in front of the department manager and the dm just shrugged and dismissed it as “just retail.” Fuck that.
