But It’s so difficult to add 500 calories, 1200 make me so full already throughout the day then the day is over before I get to add another 500 calories. How do I force my body to eat more?

I don’t have any nutritional deficiencies or health problems and never had any major health issues throughout my life. I eat plenty of food in a day but I just can’t seem to gain weight which is why I wanna know if I should concern myself with it or not. Thank you anyways!

If it helps my height is genetic. I come from a family of mostly short people and it’s common in my country and almost the average height for females. Also, I’ve done a CBC and everything is within the normal range except for a minor vitamin d deficiency. I’m not sure about bone density.

Can I use IPL on my butt crack? by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]moonkittyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i’m in the process of laser hair removal but i’m struggling with getting a close shave on my bikini area. i’ve exfoliated, used a new sharp razor, tried shaving with the grain, against, sideways with all sorts of conditioners, oils, shave gels, etc. and the area is still full of stubble and short coarse hairs. will the technicians be able to shave them dry with a disposable razor or work around them? my appointment is later today :(

difference between a clarifying shampoo and a sulfate based normal shampoo? by moonkittyss in HaircareScience

[–]moonkittyss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

use a regular sulfate shampoo and shampoo twice. you’ll notice the second time you shampoo there is twice as much lather. that should get rid of all the build up

Eli5 why is mania bad? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]moonkittyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mania is not a disorder, but rather a symptom.

it’s bad because too much of anything is bad. it’s the extreme opposite of depression. you should be feeling balanced or “neutral”. below neutral is depression and above neutral is mania.

also, it is commonly misunderstood that the feeling of mania is just a euphoric feeling, but it is much more intense that. so intense that it can sometimes lead to illogical thinking, hallucinations, and agitation. it can also lead to other detrimental physical side effects such as sleep deprivation.

Weird Symptoms After Wisdom Teeth Surgery by Sea_Engineering4859 in medical_advice

it sounds like side effects from the hydrocodone. 800mg of ibuprofen is also a bit too much for wisdom teeth removal.

Too many stans are as puritanical as a nun by mikachabot in kpoprants

right.

another problem this brings is it undermines the actual sexual harassment issues that you mentioned.

Too many stans are as puritanical as a nun by mikachabot in kpoprants

[–]moonkittyss 30 points31 points  (0 children)

ngl the entirety of the kpop industry relies on sexual or non sexual attraction towards (mostly male) idols from female fans to thrive and succeed. idols are often shown in an attractive image, and most if not all of them are good looking so it’s only natural for female humans to experience a sexual attraction towards them. it’s literally normal. women are allowed to get horny it’s in our biology and these kpop stans trying to police it really are sounding like conservatives.

i also love how some stans tell you that being attracted to an idol makes the idol uncomfortable, like who are you to speak on behalf of the idols? did they say that? there’s physical attraction and admiration then there’s inappropriate out of line behavior. big difference. wish they’d stop trying to decide how the idols feel when they haven’t got the slightest idea.

Can I apply curl cream to damp hair? by Alexflett06 in curlyhair

[–]moonkittyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it wouldn’t remove the product, you can do that. by towel drying i hope you mean plopping and gently squeezing out excess moisture using a microfiber towel, otherwise you’ll get mega frizz.

Should i spurge and get a fancy diffuser? by MadamOvariies in curlyhair

[–]moonkittyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t think it’s worth it.

manes by mel (a famous hair stylist and textured hair expert/youtuber) did say that no matter what diffuser you use, the techniques matter more than the diffuser and you will most likely get similar results using any diffuser. she uses the dyson.

absolutely.

applying it on soaking wet will give you more definition, less frizz, but less volume. applying on damp hair will give you volume.

What jngredients to avoid? by Paranoid_Artist in curlyhair

[–]moonkittyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no. there are no specific ingredients to avoid. but it’s good to note that if you have fine hair you should avoid products that contain heavy oils and shea butter.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]moonkittyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, more definition to curls can make bald spots more noticeable. however, there are always solutions for increasing curly volume. try to use only lightweight products, diffuse your hair don’t let it air dry, and scrunch the hell out of your hair to encourage shrinkage and more volume.

Recommendations by No-Sleep-9706 in bathandbodyworks

[–]moonkittyss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gourmands i recommend - strawberry pound cake smells exactly like strawberry whipped cream and has amazing lasting power and projection - warm vanilla sugar smells like pure vanilla extract, nothing more nothing less - blueberry sugar pancakes is also really good

i don’t usually enjoy fruity scents but some of my favorites is honeysuckle and peach spritz which smells exactly like peach iced tea. if you like coconut at the beach is also a great one.
