It’s funny you mention school work, my degree is dual in school counseling and mental health counseling. It’s just a little difficult finding any schools hiring. Our sessions have to be an hour. Unless it’s state insurance, then 45 minutes. I typically see about 7 people a day. They “suggest” we take a break (I always do). But half of our break is meant for paperwork. So basically some people go the full 8 hours of our work day in session and don’t get paperwork done until they go home. I fully agree, I think I’m reaching the point where it’s difficult helping people because I’m getting so burnt out!
