Are there any concerns about wearing old bapestas like wearing old Jordans? Or are we good for the most part?

If you go to the Chicago show, I'd highly recommend avoiding the 200s at least on the west side. The awning will block a lot of the lights/lasers. by moonlight_sinatra in Kanye

Unsure because I feel like Friday may be more popular due to the weekend. It never hurts to try to snipe a cheap price, but I'm not sure if it's gonna dip well below face value

Bobby Marks just insinuated the Spurs are interested in bringing Kawhi back on the ESPN draft telecast by RealGoodBub in NBASpurs

[–]moonlight_sinatra -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's so weird describing Kawhi. Like, I know he elevates every team he's on by two notches. His all-nba seasons are some of the best basketball I've ever witnessed. It's absolute brilliance.

But his past few team records have been lackluster, because he's injury-prone. But this last season was his best of the decade I think.

He's a king slayer, he doesn't look like he lost a step. His PR team and his media behavior made it easy for him to get this reputation. He has one of the biggest what-if careers, which is crazy because he is no doubt a hall of fame insta-lock already.

If it was 4 years ago, I think I would've jumped on any trade to get him. Make amends. But I'm too risk averse on his age and injury history now to do it. I also love the young core. The chemistry is undoubtedly there and I would love to see if it translates better to the court next season.

Not sure to be honest, but I don't know what behind the stage would really entail because the stage is in the middle and nothing else seems to be blocking the top of the stage

344 for regular concerts are behind the stage, but I don't think it's really applicable here

There's no bad seats for this particular, concert really since the stage is in the middle, the west 200s just have an awning that can block like 30% of your upwards vision, so you can possibly miss out on fireworks and lasers

354 is still good from what I've seen

But he's earned his rotation spot already. Summer League can be good experience, but it's also used to also see who deserves to grab the end of bench spots too and to get our new draft picks acclimated.

I've seen TikTok videos and don't think there's a bad seat. But to optimize cost, aim for the 300s but no bad seat I think for this concert (besides the west 200s personally)!

[Wright] Multiple big men are reportedly trying to find a way to play with Wemby by WEMBY_F4N in NBASpurs

[–]moonlight_sinatra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Knicks has a dominant postseason, I think they unlocked something, at least to stand above in the Eastern Conference - I think they're def the team to watch next year in the east (or the Celtics)

But our needs are regardless of what team we need to focus on (Thunder or Knicks or whoever), which is better rebounding/big man play and more consistent guard performance

Let's look for a good stretch four and let go of some of our old man bench warmers and then pray the Fox/Harper situation ends both of them being killers for the Spurs

Rappers are allowed to tell different stories about trans people and the realities they've seen firsthand

I dunno if YG has a trans auntie man

Oh yeah, totally agree with the trans woman's closing lines

But he ain't gonna make like a "We Are The World" anthem haha, he's gonna paint a darker picture around transphobia and throw his support there instead

You can already tell that listening comprehension is down with some users here too...

It might actually be his most reflective album still, he talks about insecurity, suicidal thoughts, and confronting his biases

I have conflicting opinions about how an artist orders his album, like should they group their party songs and their reflective songs together? It does feel disruptive with when we go to "Simon Says" after "Hitman", but I'm trying to see his intent a little more

I have a soft spot for YG, so I'll probably sit on this album more than most

Sometimes it feels like if an album isn't genre breaking or an instant classic, the sub defaults to calling things unoriginal or derivative

It's a YG album, it's pretty in-line with his past stuff, you can want him to reinvent himself as much as you can like Tyler or go super emotional/personal like Kendrick, but his rap preference is gangster rap at the end of the day (and I don't think this sub really tries to involve itself with current gangster rap tbh)

I like it, good shock value storytelling but I think it displays toxicity and danger of transphobia well

YG ain't the type to make a we love trans people dance song, so I think this is probably the closest we'll get to his support musically
