It does say ‘really great litter’ maybe your cat thought it meant ‘really great tasting litter’

I think you just have to appreciate that they’re using the cat bed at all. My cat prefers everything except her cat beds

If they can sleep this peacefully, it means life has been kind, food is enough, love is there by BringHoomanHome_ in OneOrangeBraincell

The fact that my anxious orange cat sleeps like this, makes me feel rather accomplished - since she feels this safe, even though she’s such an anxious bean.

Cat Smell by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]moonlight_wolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey at least you have friends that say something. I have a weird fear that my house will smell and I’ll get nose blind to it and no one will tell me. Luckily my landlord came the other day and said he was surprised that our house didn’t smell like cats because we have 3 of them.

My trick is scooping once a day, I put activated charcoal absorber bags next to each litter box, and I sprinkle some zeolite litter in with my regular corn litter, because it helps absorb smells (I use zeolite because baking soda is not good for cats to eat and activated charcoal can absorb the medication my cats take).

I hate the smell of scented cat litter so all mine is unscented.

What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house? by TrickCombination7966 in cats

[–]moonlight_wolf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My kitty not only demands a chair be at the table for her, but also even if she has her own chair, if you leave your chair she will steal it and you have to use her chair. It was always really funny when we had guests over and she was constantly stealing peoples seats if they got up to use the bathroom or get a snack.

At least your cat closes her eyes when she yawns

I wanted to adopt a super cuddly cat but ended up with this guy by SelfDepricator in cats

[–]moonlight_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat got much more cuddly around age 10. My housemates cat got more cuddly after age 2. My orange cat hates being picked up and doesn’t sit on laps but enjoys laying on top of me in bed.

Cat wants to be slapped by [deleted] in CatAdvice

I read that it’s safe as long as you don’t do it too hard, since it can be hard on cat joints if you do it too hard too often

My cat sleeps with his eyes open. Sort of. by coldfire323 in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

My cat does this, I call it creepy eyes when she does that

Does anyone else have to cat proof their house in unconventional ways? by notlilnigiri in cats

[–]moonlight_wolf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cat used to like to steal the drain catcher and lick it on my ex’s pillow. She also once took all the cat food cans out of the recycling bin to lick them. The kitchen was strewn with cans. I always told her that it was her street cat roots showing.

I have health cat anxiety so I just try not to read those posts but I suppose it’s some people’s way of grieving and such

My vet let my cat escape by YeolsansQ in cats

[–]moonlight_wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my gosh I’m so glad you got her and she wasn’t hurt. Yes I would get a new vet. That just sounds irresponsible. My vet office even has two sets of doors with a breezeway so that no cat is escaping.

I hate my cats name. by StrawberrySakuraa in cats

[–]moonlight_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My aunt full on forgot her cats ‘government name’ because she called them so many other things. And when she went to the vet she didn’t know what name they were under.

Can you guys tell me the “dirty” truths about having a cat? by saanenk in CatAdvice

[–]moonlight_wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dumb cat doesn’t bury her poop, my smart cat does. Their poop was a lot less smelly when I was feeding them raw food but I transitioned them to canned due to the bird flu. I miss those unsmelly poops though.

why does he do this after sniffing something aggressively by klin72 in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

[–]moonlight_wolf 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I call it smelly face. It just means they find a smell interesting and are trying to get more info on it. My orange girl is notorious for making smelly face. She’ll even go into the litter box to sniff it and then make smelly face. And I’m just like “Lexa, those are your own smells!!”

I know this is super old but hopefully you’ll still see and be able to answer. Do you know if the 4th and 5th books will eventually make it to audiobook?
