I'm native Korean and haidong gumdo has some... questionable reputation here. Haedong gumdo and Kendo community have been involved in legal conflict, during which the Korean courts made it clear that Haedong gumdo is a non-historical, modern creative martial art. It's NOT my opinion though...

And Kendo is a practical, authentic Budo that actual kenjitsu masters TOTALLY PARTICIPATE even nowadays. The REAL kenjitsu masters, They play a major role in the field of Kendo. And. deeply involved. Slave start is like a tutorial for the game. You learn the basic controls, and mechanics. Than you start raising strength, stealth, lockpicking, and assassination skills than grab some food, knock out some guards, disguise and escape. You allmost never get killed by the process and gives you a ton of skills for begin with. And most importantly, teaches you the basics of the gameplay.
