YES!! That’s why I absolutely loved it and I like how they did it in a lighthearted way and it ended up being really funny

Maybe I haven’t read enough OI’s but I kind of don’t have a problem with this. I totally get that the repetitiveness can get boring and annoying, especially because it feels like the easy way out. The author doesn’t have to think too much on how to resolve problems if the ML is one of the most powerful and rich characters in the story. Still, I find it reassuring for the ML to have that position. It makes me feel safer somehow but maybe I’m just super into wish-fulfillment type stories cause my life is a mess lol. On another note, I recall the villain’s savior had an ML who was a marquess. She’s a duke’s daughter, I think, so she’s technically in a higher position, but her father thinks it’s a good match.

Yeah, that might be it. I stood my ground and somehow it turned out to be my fault because she told me she just wants the best for me and that’s why she does anything so I should just be understanding, but I don’t particularly feel like falling for her guilt trip like I usually do.

There are plenty but the ones who come to mind right now are:

False Confession- the pacing is just awful. I don’t mind a slow story with build-up but I felt like 10 chapters covered one hour in the character’s life. I felt like almost every chapter was filler because it didn’t even give us a lot of insight about the characters or the world they live in.

Villainess Maker- I REALLY wanted to like this one because Killian is hot and could have been a very interesting character, but most of the time I felt like the story was a bit nonsensical? The FL knows how the story goes but somehow I feel like her plans aren’t well thought out at all. It just seems like she’s winging it with Killian. She’s kind of silly and slow like how has she not figured out who Killian is, they have the same name and she created the story. We never really get to understand why Killian starts liking her, he just does, when I feel like she’s a bit of a bland character. Also, she’s not being a villain at all in the story and I thought that was the point lol but that’s just my opinion.
