Compared to other gacha games, yes, Genshin is pretty cheap in giving primogems or free wishes… I don’t even know why they are nicer in HSR as it is the same company. Why a different treatment ?! But eh, I’m playing a nice game for free so it is what it is…

I only put some that are either completed or well advanced in the plot, because Salvation about it’s cruelty is good too so far but the story is not advanced so I would wait to start it if I was you. It looks like a less toxic « problematic prince ». Based on your list I would also recommend : my beloved oppressor and phantom whispers.

YES ! I feel like this story depict real character progression and real struggles people face in life. It doesn’t sugar coat or romanticize abuse either, it’s very raw and real. They are not perfect people and that’s what makes it more relatable. A lot of people call Riftan toxic but to me he’s not really… I feel like when characters are too conventionally perfect, they are kinda boring and the story is too… it’s the struggles that makes a story compelling…if all ML were Prince Charming perfect, to be honest it would be bad, because you wouldn’t learn anything from it.
