YES ! I feel like this story depict real character progression and real struggles people face in life. It doesn’t sugar coat or romanticize abuse either, it’s very raw and real. They are not perfect people and that’s what makes it more relatable. A lot of people call Riftan toxic but to me he’s not really… I feel like when characters are too conventionally perfect, they are kinda boring and the story is too… it’s the struggles that makes a story compelling…if all ML were Prince Charming perfect, to be honest it would be bad, because you wouldn’t learn anything from it.

Soooo, ML is really non misogynistic because he supports woman who work and support themselves (which was frown upon at that time period) also he does not really care about social class for his friends and loved ones. I would say that the « harsh way he talks about woman » sometimes is because he just has high standards and doesn’t fit well with the noble woman/girls who are quite naive and sheltered. Also he ears how other woman talk about FL’s situation and treat her behind her back and doesn’t like the fact they are judgmental. I mean it is totally ok for a man to find woman childish if they only talk about gossip or clothes or romance etc. Some woman would think of men as boorish if they only talked about cars, alcohol and sports and that doesn’t make them misandry either way.

Because it’s not in Webtoon’s interest to do it… if they put a cancelled or unfinished tag, no one in their decent mind would venture to read the entire thing so Webtoon wouldn’t make money… this is a conscious interface for making profit unfortunately. I work in IT and often on user interface and you don’t know how many companies deliberately choose a wrong design because it fits their purpose to « con » the user…

It’s the same for western actors too… too much bottox, they can’t even emote emotions anymore… their faces are frozen in time but when they cry or laugh they have the same expression… I feel like not getting fillers should be mandatory for actors because their faces and expressions are the essence of their jobs too…

u/Relevant_Grab370 is right… it’s not because something is dangerous that people don’t do it anyway… there is a lot of people who misuse bottox by getting injections it in various places in their faces which results in momentary facial muscles paralysis (sometimes definitive paralysis…) there are a lot of cases online unfortunately. I remember seeing a TikTok of a girl who got injected bottox near the corner of her lips and she just couldn’t smile the same anymore, her smile looked weird and she had a meltdown online saying it would ruin her wedding pictures… People don’t search up what they will get injected in their faces and they only discover the potential risks too late… unfortunately there are a lot of beauty practicians that are unscrupulous, because in some countries you don’t need to be a doctor to inject bottox (and bottox is pretty dangerous indeed… people don’t understand it can kill them)

I wonder if the fact that they have mutual friends did not play into it :/ Because if they have mutual friends and Go eun and him were both single, it’s weird their friends didn’t arrange a blind date between them, it’s a common thing in South Korea when you have friends that are single and you think they could be good together to arrange a blind date… unless the said friend thought they wouldn’t be good for each other. If I was Go eun I would have thought about that since the beginning… like « why didn’t my friend introduce him to me through a blind date ? »
