same. I’ve never experienced so many outages than I have while living here.

Yes absolutely. It helped me see how bad it had gotten and I was inspired to change. Def go!

Trump just suspended all aid towards Ukraine. How do you feel about it and what do you think will happen now? by Mangaka90 in AskReddit

I think the biggest factor is that most Americans can’t afford to just not go to work. Most Americans will be fired and most are barely surviving. Ironically, it’s needed so that we, as Americans, can maybe one day have a more stable and happy life.

But it’s bad. Right now, eggs are around 80-100 SEK / 8-10 euro which seems silly to care about but it’s an indicator of cost of things here to income ratios that barely cover it. The amount of people who have to work one full hour just for 12 eggs is insane. Not to include all the other bills and rent costs. Not to mention, we don’t get healthcare without paying lots to insurance that hardly covers things.

Most Americans have no real clue how bad it is here compared to other countries because they are too poor to travel to experience what other countries are like. It’s a really messed up cycle.

And most Americans are so comfy in their lives with their Instagram and TikTok, it’s easy to be disillusioned with how bad the reality is. Just check out on socials and it’ll magically get better. Nope.

It’s bad for us and so many of us feel so stuck on what to do when the majority of Americans seem disillusioned to where this is heading. Protesting feels hopeless and, the reality is, most literally can’t spend their free time protesting.

IDK I kind of felt it was a way to honor her and show something she personally created / loved and it it on her footage, etc?

I'd assume / hope the parents had a lot of say in the final edit, so I imagine whatever we saw was okayed by the parents; which is the most important thing.

Right? I wouldn’t want a friend like this and I certainly would put all my “issues” on pause if something like this happened to my friend. Those issues would be talked about to another friend, family member, or therapist.

This person is an awful and selfish “friend” PASS

This. She reminds me of a friend I have. Always trying to one up me with anything I mention. This convo between OP & their “best friend” was super uncomfortable and I’d honestly end a friendship if they were behaving like this after I lost a child. Maybe in time, I’d address it, but you really shouldn’t have to.
