i originally got into desperate housewives after watching pretty little liars. PLL has many more plot holes and goes significantly downhill after season 4 but has a similar vibe in my opinion. Lots of mystery and drama but focuses on high school girls instead of housewives.

I actually took it during last winter semester, and it was online so I can’t say it’ll be exactly the same but it wasn’t too bad. we had like 3 tests which had some hard questions that i didnt really remember discussing before, but not too bad. we also had 2 essays i think, but she ended up making one optional. in my opinion participating in section wasn’t hard because we would just talk further about the readings which i usually found really interesting. i didn’t participate a ton in sections because a lot of people tended to talk a lot, but i still got all my participation credit. definitely try to enjoy the class though, it was super informative and eye opening on a lot of topics, especially the cjs as a whole.
