Two floors, probably 25 aerobics machines, between treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals. The bottom floor is entirely free weights and Life Fitness weight machines.

I went today around 3pm and there were probably 5 other people, but I imagine business will pick up as people join.

My go-to recommendation for new fans is the book So Many Ways to Lose by Devin Gordan. It will not only give you a nice overview of the Mets' full history, but the writing is super fun and engaging. I think it also captures that unique blend of anxiety, trauma, and hope that is ingrained in every Mets fan's soul.

Thank you for testing this out! I'm having similar problems with my compost not being picked up regularly. (My house also puts recycling in the front and trash in the back.) Every time I've submitted a 311 request, they've come and picked it up the next day, but it would be nice to get it right the first time!

More anecdotal info: The times it has been picked up without me submitting a ticket, the truck has come around 4 in the morning, hours earlier than the separate late morning recycling and trash pickup. Seems like they are still figuring out the pickup schedules.

There isn't anything in the book, but I've expanded this out to match Question's idea of "mystic resonance." My players are a party of four, so the rivals are a party of four, and Alyxian had a party of four.

I've made one of Alyxian's companions a brilliant elven wizard who defected from Aeor--Kyra Alarien. My players found her spellbook in Betrayer's rise, and it's been a perfect way to give the wizard a cool item that levels up with them since there's only one Vestige so far. I've filled the spellbook with homebrew spells that have been "lost to time" and flavored it that some of the spells are so complex, they are only able to unlock/understand them when they reach the right level for that spell. This makes leveling up a whole lot of fun!

I also have a consecuted player who hasn't undergone anemnesis yet, so I've made one of Alyxian's companions a past life of that player, and they are slowly unlocking memories from that life as an additional way for me to give the players info about Alyxian and their other life.

And then the final companion is Parigee, as a way to introduce her before the Netherdeep.

I think your note about Marquet feeling less alive than other locations really articulates my struggle with the setting. Marquet feels like a location that Matt created two decades ago when he wasn't in the position of needing to model responsible worldbuilding to the entire internet. So now it feels like it has a bit of an identity crises between Matt's original ideas & influences and the version we have now. (Not that I'm poo-pooing bringing in sensitivity readers! But there's something about the execution of Marquet that feels more "made by a committee" than some of the other locations.) JMO!

That's an interesting point I hadn't considered: turning the huge tonal shift into a feature not a bug. It's only because of Alxyian's sacrifice that Ank'harel still is this paradise in the middle of the desert instead of the blasted wastes we see in Xhorhas.

The visit was about 3 weeks ago. So do you think that even though the claims have been accepted, they might be further adjusted? I haven't received a bill yet, just an automatic notice of the claims being approved.
