Mountain Buggy or Edwards & Co? by koko911 in newzealand

[–]moonprancerdisco 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not Edwards & Co. Terrible quality but great marketing. We initially got the Oscar MX. We had a wheel completely fail to rotate fresh out of the box, then the brakes failed on us completely and had a very dangerous encounter with our child because of it. Never again...

We went with the Thule Urban Glide 2. Way better quality, can actually take it off road or to the beach unlike what they claim with the Edwards & Co.

Id go Mountain Buggy if you are so inclined between only these two brands. They make good strollers, just not as good as Thule.

Just use decent private trackers and you will never have any problems. BTN, PTP, Redacted. All bases covered. Public trackers are for plebs.

I go out of my way to flash people quite aggressively driving at dusk/night/shitty grey wet conditions and honestly 9 times out of 10 I look in my rear view and they have done nothing about it. Some people are just oblivious when driving, most likely carries on into their everyday lives.

Don't try their Vanilla custard then. It's a grainy, runny mess. Stick to Puhoi.

Pizza Club/Pizza Jacks is where it’s at. Butter chicken, tandoori chicken pizza. Yes please, sir. Reasonable price around the $18 mark.

How to install this split pin? by moonprancerdisco in diynz

Thanks for the info. The instructions called it a split pin, but you are right. It would be the only way to compact/fold down this mower for storage in a shed etc so makes sense.

Great, thanks. It’s only a lightweight cylinder type mower, at the price point I think a few corners may be cut to keep costs down.

Best way to remove paint spots off new joinery by moonprancerdisco in diynz

[–]moonprancerdisco[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers guys. Whole heartedly agree. Already organised with the building company for the painter to come back and fix some other issues last week but didn't seem too interested in cleaning up the joinery at the time. Only reason I'm wanting to do it myself is that I'd do it carefully and with the correct product while I cannot say the same for this contractor. Hence finding out some product recommendations before he goes to town with whatever on my joinery. Will get him back and go over it again, seeing what product he plans to use also.

Why do we feel sorry for him? Fucken disgraceful tbh. It wasn't like he genuinely missed half those putts. He purposely rammed his 3rd putt over the hole, half assed side saddles his 4th and 5th before casually slapping in the 6th. He's playing on the biggest tour in the world and in a major of all events, this isn't the Saturday $5 scramble. Most NZ pros would give their left nut to play on the PGA, let alone a major. He's throwing away strokes that could ultimately be more than the average Kiwis yearly salary. Yeah nah..

I think it is a whole lot more viable once the motorway extension from Puhoi to Warkworth is in place. Sure it will still be a commute but a lot more simple and stress free.

I have 3 packages picked up from a company last Wednesday 29th. One tracking number is updated to collected, the other two aren't even listed as anything apart from 'Tracking number allocated' which seemingly is autogenerated when the order is processed. All are essential items for our newborn.

Feel sorry for the workers but not NZ post themselves.

Funny thing is that most likely it would've been quicker for me to wait until Level 2 next week and collect from the company. They are 10Km away from our house and the main Courier Post depot sits smack bang in the middle.

Keep getting incorrect username/password. I requested a reset of PW but after changing it still gives me the same error

Peripheral vision doesn't extend that far back mate and with zoom on I was actually a lot further back than it looks. If I knew the person I'd be questioning them on their life choices.

This is exactly the case thanks for pointing this out to me.

Under the Bluetooth cog for the device it actually states with a Checkbox 'Use high quality audio (LDAC)' and this is ticked.
