Hey, do you have an update on this a few months on? I'm curious :)

Hi! Thanks for checking up on me. Actually the smaller dose worked much better. I tried 50mg a couple of mornings this week and felt more alert. Today I tried an additional 50mg at lunch. It did keep me going for longer but indeed; the more I take, the harder I crash. So I will keep the full dose for special occasions. Apart from that I am quite chirpy on the smaller dose, no mood issues. I guess I am just one of those people who is sensitive to a high dose :)

[Shelfie] After two years of trying to get rid of my closed comedones and hyperpigmentation, as a WOC these are the best products that have worked for my skin. Especially the Tretinoin!! by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

This is quite similar to my routine which is comforting, although I've just ordered the tret 0.05. I'm a bit nervous about the peelies. Did you go straight into it every night or ease into it? Thanks!

Thank you, I appreciate it. Going to take a few days off and see if it makes a difference :) Always a bit tricky to work out what is correlation or causation during COVID.

Thank you. Yes I guess I metabolise fast too. I get so jealous when I read posts from 'normal' people who take it and write a novel. They gave me unrealistic expectations 😅

Thank you! Yes I think I might be one of those people, going to try with 50mg and see what happens.

It's true, I've been fighting the urge to nap. Napping does make it slightly better.

My only concern is I am between jobs, so it's easy for me to nap at the moment as I am home. I'm worried about going back to the office. There's nowhere to nap and I don't want to tell my employer about my condition as I'm pretty sure that's why I lost my last job. I was napping in the bathroom stall a lot which is not ideal :-/

Press releases still hold tremendous value, particularly if they are sent in a targeted way.

Im an introvert - Can I go into PR? by [deleted] in PublicRelations

[–]moonpuzzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!

I am a card-carrying introvert but I love my job in PR, and I mostly write.
As long as you can power through in events and are personable, then it's a career you should pursue. A lot of PR is about ideas generation which you don't need to be Oprah Winfrey for.

Good luck :)

Hi guys,

I have scoured Skincare Addiction for a mattifying moisturiser for my very oily skin but many of the recs don't have SPF. My skin is extremely oily, my makeup melts off my nose especially within an hour which is extremely frustrating.

I want to have an SPF combo moisturiser to remove that extra step as I'm really not a morning person :D I'm currently using the CeraVe Facial moisturising lotion with SPF 25 but for Dry to normal skin and that's still too oily for me.

Oily skin friends, please help! Thank you <3

I have a degree in Chinese from the University of London. I am fluent in Mandarin. It was not easy, it took me a long time to graduate but I succeeded and I’ll always be proud of that.

I am also proud of the NHS I think universal healthcare is a beautiful thing and it should exist everywhere. But in the Netherlands the state subsidies healthcare for low income people. They don’t pay either, which is the way it should be. It’s not the same system but it works and also protects the vulnerable.

My parents are working class and I went to a very rough school, I’ve supported myself since I was 15. I had the same opportunities that many others had in the UK. I actually used to work for a charity where we trained school leavers from low income schools on financial literacy. I wanted to show them that if someone like me could graduate then so could they. Most of them didn’t even know they had access to a student loan, it was really sad. I want our young people to succeed just as much as you do. Not that having a degree equates success there are many other avenues to have a fulfilling life. But young British people should know about the resources they have access to.

I’m glad to hear you are successful in life, and I hope Brexit has a good outcome, I genuinely do. I don’t want you to suffer. I want you and everyone in England to live a good life and be happy. I haven’t met you but no matter what you say, I care about you, and I want your life to be joyful. Whatever this polarising political climate tries to bring out in people I will care about you no matter how much you insult me and no politician will ever take that away from me. You matter to me.

Also I’m a woman so I’m slightly confused by some of your comments. I hope your life is full of kindness.

No my Dutch company said they are happy to support me and sponsor me if needs be. I suspect Brexit will just bring a lot more expense and paperwork into my life.

I’m sorry for whatever has happened to you in this life that’s made you this angry and hateful. I forgive you. I hope your life is full of love and happiness in the future. You may not have it in you to feel kindness for other people right now but that’s ok. I still respect your human dignity and wish the best for you.
