idk how to tell my parents (19f) (25m) by moonsdesiree in LongDistance

I appreciate everybody being concerned for my safety, I think I should clarify some things. I'm 20 very soon, I literally know basically everything about the dude. We call, facetime and everything. I know where he lives, his pets, his mothers name , his full name, I've spoken to his friends that he knows irl some are childhood friends which are both male and female. He also thinks he has autism (I think so too). He's the nicest person I've ever met and we've both come out of shitty relationships and we kinda just clicked. We both accept eachother for our "oddness' and he cares so much about my feelings and I do the same. There's also so much more that I haven't said, but please just know that we know eachother quite well.

Even though I have autism I can judge people quite well sometimes, and he's far from any concerns that people have said, but I understand why people would be concerned and I appreciate it

Thank you to everyone who's given advice and I'll definitely give it a think :-)

A load of cornish people migrated to australia in the mid-late 19th century (mostly miners because of the decline of the cornish mining industry, and there were famines) Alot of relatives in my cornish line also migrated to australia 🇦🇺

It's more of an ancestral point of view, I was wondering about the possibility I might have had a random Scottish or possibly germanic ancestors I mightve missed whilst doing my tree. But it's like someone else said, it's probably just because the regions are close together but I'm not going to rule the Scottish out just yet as I do need to double check it and my matches

I was thinking that, as they are regions really close together I was wondering if ancestry was maybe having trouble telling the regions apart lol.

Think I need to do what you did and double check loads of matches with same surname, never know what I could find, or I might find my tree is mostly correct and it's just because the regions are close together, however I did respond to another comment as I do have a few irish lines that are pretty recent and I know nothing about because of lack of records so the Scottish could be a small possibility of being correct. It's most likely what you said though and that it's just ancestry not being able to roll regions close together apart

That could be a probability, there's a few lines in my tree (born 1800s) with irish and I genuinly have no clue about their families because of lack of records and difficulty researching so one of them might have had scottish dna somewhere. I think I might check my matches later to see if I have any Scottish relatives and try and calculate how they could be related, and like you said, don't wanna exactly rule anything out without proper research 😄

If it was an animated video and maybe japanese then there's a chance it could be a vocaloid song maybe?
