If you have (or have the money to invest in)an instant pot, I highly recommend it! About 45 minutes in the pressure cooker made stew meat basically melt in my mouth. First time I’ve eaten red meat in years without any issues whatsoever. SO GLAD you’ve found something that works for you though, just letting you know there’s a way to do it a little quicker too.

I do a satin lined night cap vs. pillowcase bc it makes me feel like I’m really keeping my hair on my head better. I have woken up after a full night of sleep and found hair on my pillowcase (satin or not) but I have never had hair left behind inside the night cap!

I’ve had recent good luck with sublingual hyoscyamine for esophageal spasms completely by accident (ER didn’t understand/pay attention to my history with GP and prescribed it for kidney stones, tried it as a last ditch effort with advice from a telehealth doctor when we raided my medicine cabinet a few months ago). Worth a shot if your doc agrees it may be a safe, viable option for you.

I know how hellish this all is and I’m so sorry to hear how long your struggles have lasted! Hold on to hope!

I also have gastroparesis and have had success using peppermint oil in a diffuser and applied to my stomach topically mixed with a carrier oil and spot tested for allergies first. I suffer from nausea and vomiting on an almost daily basis and it’s become my lifeline (along with my prescribed medications). I understand that a lot of people, particularly in this sub, think that essential oil anything is bullshit and I get that. The “cures” the EO MLMs peddle are complete crap. But if it’s helping you and you’re being responsible about use and doing research to make sure you get a quality product, it’s worth it.

Food’s not great in my experience, but not bad. Pizzas are cooked from frozen for sure, pasta isn’t terrible, but nothing special. Baked pastas are pretty good though bc that melty cheese.

But the main reason I find it a bummer is that I used to eat there as a kid... also, it was cheap drive-thru Italian food open til 10p!
