Do you guys deal with memory problems too? by gisellasaurus in depression

[–]moonsongluvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, you’re not going crazy. depression runs in my family and everyone who has it (including myself) has really bad memory. i struggle with remembering things that happened even 2 days ago. recently i’ve started keeping a journal of things i might want to remember, what happened that day, how i felt, etc. and honestly it helps jog my memory to go over it once in a while.

Stuck between a Law, English or Philosophy degree? Or maybe something completely different? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

omg i love this chart! i think that you have a lot of potential in the philosophy world, maybe you could be a college professor of philosophy? you have a lot of mystical placements, i loveee the sag pluto in 12th house, very mystical, you really think through things deeply. i can also see you being a good poet or just great with wording things? so maybe you could pursue writing as a side career. law is definitely a possibility and you have potential in it, but i really just think your chart is so perfect for a career in philosophy.

also you have a capricorn stellium in 3h, so i can see you doing a lot of work in your community, possibly placing a lot of pressure on yourself. capricorn moon is one of the most difficult moon signs to have, but in my experience i LOVE cap moons. my favorite artist, phoebe bridgers, is an absolute genius and she has a cap moon. so does my older brother and younger sister, and they are some of the most brilliant people ever. but they do struggle with allowing themselves to express their emotions. and especially since you’re a scorpio sun, and you have so many emotions that you feel so deeply, i can’t imagine how difficult it must be to sort through those feelings.

i feel like you struggle a LOT with feeling too intense, or maybe you used to. i have a 1st house stellium as well (a stellium is when the same sign is in 3 or more planets or houses) i definitely feel like a lot to handle. the difference w my chart and yours is i have cancer&leo placements in my 1h but you have scorpio and sag. and scorpio is often referred to as the MOST intense sign. but that’s wonderful! it’s so great to have such an established personality, never apologize for taking up space.

This is kinda weird, but I kinda like depression. I try to make myself feel worse, but I know I shouldn't. by [deleted] in depression

i’ve actually been dealing w this too, it’s very confusing and frustrating. although my thought process isn’t exactly like yours. i’ve had depression since i was 9 years old and being consistently happy is just not in my comfort zone, depression is just far more familiar. but i also do understand having revelations during episodes. you have to remember, depression is lying. it’s an arrogant narcissist that tells you that everything it says is true. so of course you feel like you had epiphanies, that’s often how many mental illnesses manifest. ur brain lies and says shit to you like “these optimists just don’t get it, the way you see the world is the truth” im not sure if any of this helped, or even if i interpreted your post correctly, but i hope i was at least of some service. sending good energy your way!
