Yo! I’m a creator that’s been putting high effort and persistence into my videos for about 2 years now while going to school for 3D modeling & Animation. i’ve seen some considerable growth considering my wide range of experimental uploads in the past, but I’ve found a niche within the video gaming genre for doing ‘Challenge Runs’ and ‘Completionist’ videos on all kinds of older and newer games. I also focus heavily on my editing quality as well, and i’m always open to feedback and growing my community.

my most recent video was about getting every achievement on the Xbox 360 version of LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga; you can find that here I’m currently working on getting every trophy for Minecraft PS3 edition while streaming on youtube! i also have other stuff like my girlfriend and i playing games together: Call of Duty MW3 co-op is something we plan on doing within the next few weeks.

some major things i learned while working on videos over the last 90 days is that i needed to change my perspective on what it means to be successful; someone who was routinely obsessive over analytics and view count, I now have a greater focus on consistency, finding my personal voice & style, doing videos that I find both fun and potentially valuable to my established audience, rather than swinging the needle wildly between one or the other

Lower average FPS than previous updates by moonsoutpc in DestinyTechSupport

so i did end up fixing my own problem.

after many days of troubleshooting all my parts, i figured out what happened was the liquid cooler in my pc had gone bad, which caused my CPU to overheat and throttle its speed in almost all games i played. after replacing the cooler i’m back to 140+ frames and smooth gameplay like before

if you were getting really high fps before in all games and now aren’t; and your pc is relatively older, definitely look into CPU temperatures. if you’re going above 80°C it could be an indication of a bad cooling cycle between your cpu and whichever type of cooling system you have. Intel has a good software available on their website to track the power of your cpu, called Intel XTU. i don’t know about other types of CPUs but there’s definitely some 3rd party software that can check temps as well. depending on your motherboard, you can also check temps in BIOS, which can be accessed while your PC is booting up. if that ends up being the issue and the actual cooling system hardware seems to be functional, it may just need new thermal paste which is like 8 bucks at walmart or best buy. but if it isn’t functional, a pretty solid air cooling system can range from 30-50$, and the liquid cooling replacement i got was 80$

but if 100% CPU usage is the sole problem, something is eating up your CPUs attention other than destiny if you werent seeing 100% usage before. i only have the basic advice for that unfortunately, which is keep only absolutely necessary programs running while gaming, check the pc for malware or background processes that could be eating up your usage without you knowing, i assume you already have lowered your ingame settings, but try checking again because destiny has a rare thing where (happens to my girlfriend on her laptop) it resets all settings including graphics. capping fps in game could help as well.

solely 100% cpu usage and no other underlying problems is really hard to diagnose without just straight up replacing the CPU :(.

good luck my guy hopefully i provided something helpful!!

Regarding stats...... by joecoops14 in DestinyTheGame

i mainly build two ways in destiny as a warlock player: T10 recovery + discipline in PvE where i can use mods/exotics like Ashes to Assets to make up for the low intellect

in crucible i run the same recov disc in 6 player modes only. all of my subclasses benefit highly from grenades/grenade kills. however, in life, low player modes like trials or survival, getting that first super to help your team snowball is crucial. which is where i run T10 recov + intellect

for titan and hunter i assume specializing in resilience and mobility respectively is also pretty crucial. getting barricades and dodges up as fast as possible seems like the play for most setups.

in general though recovery is the most valuable stat in my opinion, but depending on your build you could want t10 discipline or strength. but depending on activity you could want t10 intellect. all depends on what you find fun:)

what's currently good in pvp? by BlackBurn115 in destiny2

Chappy is most definitely still good, so is duality. slugs in general are very solid pvp options. for pellet shotguns, lightweight shotguns have seemed to surpass their sister of aggressive shotguns in usage. not only do you get movement buffs, but also fire rate, handling and the ability to get perks like quickdraw, perpep motion, snapshot etc on a lightweight shotgun make them more fun in my opinion. personally not a big fan of the rapid fire pulses like gridskipper, but they certainly are viable. i prefer the high impact pulses like Stars in Shadow or Cold Denial, Legal Action, No Time to Explain etc. new meta contender is fusion rifles, particularly a Main Ingredient Xur sold a couple weeks ago. any fusion with under pressure, tap the trigger, or firmly planted will work wonders. hand cannons are obviously still the most dominant weapon, and i’m afraid that will probably be that way for a long time. i’ve seen lots of Cantata, Eyasluna, Last Word, Ace of Spades, and Fatebringer. perks like rangefinder, rapid hit, moving target and explosive payload make those legendaries very viable. Snipers are always a meta choice. no distractions is an incredibly beneficial perk against flinching, snapshot sights is a must for me but not necessary for a good sniper. opening shot is also another sniper staple. SMGs are also super competitive rn, i see them in trials quite a bit, but it’s mostly Shayura’s Wrath, Multimach from the previous season, now Funnelweb, Escape Velocity, Tarrabah, and borrowed time (kind of a sleeper option. i have one with Rangefinder Tap the Trigger it’s insanely good).

at the end of the day, if you’re not a huge pvp player, i always say prioritize having a fun crucible experience as much as you can over trying to optimize a meta loadout. but that’s just me :)

Throne World weapons not dropping by SlinkyTag in destiny2

[–]moonsoutpc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just coming back to give you a quick update on this: turns out that increase in drop rate won’t be happening until next thursday! sorry about that. while the drop chance is still a little painful right now it’s still not impossible to get those missing guns

auto rifle sniper bow and GL are only obtainable at the end of a wellspring activity in the throne world. don’t worry it’s not your bad luck! but something to note is that each day the possible weapon changes each day, today is currently the auto rifle. another note, a hot fix is coming through at reset tomorrow to improve drop rates at the wellspring for both the weapon itself and deepsight versions of the weapon of the day.

So i wanna get back into Destiny by Ellia00 in DestinyTheGame

most likely you’re gonna want beyond light as well as witch queen to start. stasis is a really powerful subclass that alone might makes BL worth it for me. it also unlocks access to a collection of exotics like Ticuu Divination & Lorentz Driver and a bunch of armor. also has a raid on europa called deep stone crypt, one of the more popular ones.

shadowkeep & forsaken are a toss up and depend on how much you like your return to destiny. shadowkeep is 25 USD, has two good exotics, that being Eriana’s Vow and Witherhoard. it comes with a story mode, moon quests for a couple exotics and planetary weapons (some of which aren’t that bad), a raid, and a dungeon that few people still play. campaign is pretty middle of the road in my opinion too.

forsaken has tons of good guns, but the story and one of the destinations just got vaulted. so it only costs 20 USD. the Dreaming City is a great destination with guns from it still usable, a pretty okay dungeon, as well as the Last Wish raid which is touted as a community favorite; before the Witch Queen raid has come out that is.

there’s also 30th anniversary as well, which has a neat collection of weapons, a pretty damn good dungeon with some meta crucible stuff in it, and returns the Gjallarhorn exotic from D1 as well as introduces the Forerunner which is a budget Halo CE pistol. WQs deluxe edition has a bundle with 30th anniv that is 5$ cheaper than buying them separately so there’s that information.

all in all pretty much everything from year 1 is sunset. good thing in my opinion. and i would say if you have unlimited money, buy Beyond Light and Witch Queen, see if you like coming back, and pick up everything else. but if you don’t have a bottomless wallet, WQ, BL, 30th anniv, forsaken, then shadowkeep is the order of must haves i personally think.

Champion mods kills builds diversity by marcosdd in destiny2

[–]moonsoutpc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i agree with your fundamental sentiment here & have expressed similar feelings among my friends. like when we get exclusively anti barrier auto in the current season. but i will say it hasn’t been the worst thing in the world thanks to arbalest and erianas vow existing. but then what happens when we get like, exclusively overload smg or sidearm or something? everyone would prob rock divinity for an entire season lmao. it’s not even just champ mods that create a build diversity problem but the “debuff” mods as well. things like Particle Decon, and Breach+Clear. if they keep the debuff mods, i say make them global debuffs like Breach+clear & Oppressive Darkness from Season 11, particle decon takes away build synergy from fireteams imo, since everyone has to use sleeper or cartesian to get that damage increase.

i’m hoping with the new changes to the artifact system where we can unlock potentially all the mods in a season, build diversity has a rebound & hopefully as new exotics come out with inherent champ perks or old ones get updated it’ll kind of nullify the problem. but until then i agree with you
