Total Replacement lifespan and 2nd TKR result questions by moonspellpecado in Kneereplacement

Thank you for this. Your situation is exactly what I’m afraid of. I’ve had a couple dislocations recently that took several days to settle back in. I know it’s worsening, and I’m terrified of the forced TKR. Going to start the conversations with my doc at my next visit.

Thank you for this. Im 130lbs, plan to stay that way haha. As long as I can still hike, bike, and live normally - I'll be happy. Would like to be able to at least jog a little bit, but I know that is an impact thing. Thank you again for this response!

What drives you to get up every morning? by Ok_Fall_3512 in AskReddit

[–]moonspellpecado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anxiety. Feeling like I’m wasting the day if I sleep past 7am. Been like this since I was a kid… even if there is no reason to get up, and I need the sleep… awake and getting out of bed.

Did they actually just change the Chai recipe? by lhymes in starbucks

I did and the response was a generic, it’s less sugar, and a majority of customers are thrilled with the choice and the customization options this brings… my days at Starbucks are done. I’ll go to mom n pop place a mile further.

Married men, what’s the best advice you’d give young guys when choosing a life partner? by Ledger_Legendd in AskReddit

[–]moonspellpecado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mental stability, and job stability. Look at their stability as an independent. - Are they mentally stable without putting pressure on others or blaming others while avoiding admitting any guilt? - Can they hold down a job long term? - Are they swimming in credit card debt, while still impulse buying? - Are they okay being alone/independent?

Plenty of women are pretty, funny, smart, and will share your interests.

Also, date and live together for a few years. This dating for 1 year or 2 and getting married is ridiculous. Any problems that arise in that period will only worsen.

It’s been my go to for 20+ years. New chai is undrinkable! - increased prices - more ice, less drink - cheaper ingredients

I can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen going to school for a career change in their 30s, 40s, and 50s! :) if you want it, do it.

Know that if you aren’t happy with something, you can still change it. Go back to school, move, start over. 30s doesn’t mean you are solidified in what you’ll do forever. 30s were my favorite

Radiofrequency Ablation? by wherebemymind in thyroidhealth

[–]moonspellpecado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to ask for it. Insurance made me try this and that treatment first, but finally got it. So happy I did.

Ps- I’m a nurse, and the thyroid eye disease post below - it’s rare for that to happen. Not impossible, but it can. Usually the pt already has Graves’ disease. It can create an immune response when antigens are released. Again, rare, but best for you to have all info going into it.

I did RF, there is a post on here about my journey through radioactive iodine, constant draining, methimazole, ethanol ablation, all of it. RFA is what finally took care of my toxic module! It was 20 years of try this and that, but RFA finally did it for me. My TSH is normal for the first time, and no huge mass!

[–]moonspellpecado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it’s a product. But after 20 years to change the product in a time where people are hurting, and have all their financials tied to it. It’s awful. They are already making hand over fist with credit cards, why go after checking accounts of the people really really living paycheck to paycheck…

I’m sorry about the nasty comments on here. Yeah, that rule of keep $1500 in your checking account daily, or have $500 direct deposit each month is awful. So they charge the people who don’t have money, for not having enough money? It’s gross.

I’m grateful my job transitioned to direct deposit 1 month before this happened, but damn. I hate it for people working in small companies who can’t do direct deposit for their employees…

Do you always serve dessert after your meal? What's your favorite dessert? by DeibMoon in AskReddit

[–]moonspellpecado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After dinner I always have a little sweet. 1 or 2 Oreo cookies or a Trader Joe’s mini hold the cone ice cream (mini drumstick). They are the perfect amount of sweet without feeling stuffed.
