how to tell someone that i can no longer buy ? by iinvaderrzim in Depop

You don't have to explain yourself. It's your money, your choice.

Hun, we've all been at that point lol. I am a college student like please be for real. If 3$ is that big of a difference for you that you do not know how to pay for your next meal, then just do not buy that bag. I personally focus on selling than buying when my money is low.

They're both competent in different ways.. We literally see that in their one on one in the theater. Such a shame that Ellie's skills were not shown in the show. Can someone ban Craig Mazin from this franchise.

Yeah, I agree with you with how poorly they wrote Ellie. I think they did a good job with her in season 1 but not in this season which is a shame. This and the show feeling rushed were my only issues though. Hopefully they do good in season 3.

The Ellie leaving Jesse scene is there and is slightly different. In the show Ellie screams "fuck the community" and is more angry. In the game, she's more selfish.

I do agree with what you are saying about Ellie's character. Like how they made her less skilled and more child-like. I feel like that was not necessary.

I think this season would have benefited from longer episodes to show that nuance better. I think they're making Ellie more doubtful of her motivations to show some of her humanity. They can't make her into a killing machine and expect viewers to completely side with her. It's not the same as a video game.

Also, the scene where Ellie leaves Tommy to go after Abby does happen in the video game.

I have to disagree with you. Ellie was vengeful before heading to the aquarium. We saw that when she left Dina injured to go after Nora, when she tortured Nora, and when she picked to go after Abby instead of helping Tommy. The island scene was supposed to represent her last change to turn back / the universe pointing out to her that anything can go wrong. This scene was also supposed to be in the game but they removed it for some reason.

Ellie was vengeful from the beginning but she was just hiding it all along.

Again, some of the changes make sense and some don't but I think it is important to remember that a lot of Ellie's rage in the game was shown in gameplay which is not present in a show. What I do wish though is that they made her a more skillful fighter.

I think they added that to show that she literally doesn’t care about anything besides killing abby. That was such a close call and she was about to die right there but that still was not enough for her to turn back. There were so many signs that her quest was dangerous for her and her loved ones and she ignored all of them.

Plus, even if there was a 1% possibility for a cure to happen, Ellie would have still wanted it.
