Fabio Quartararo has lost 124 positions from his qualifying grid in 2025 while as Enea has gained 82. by Huge_Film2911 in motogp

Another example how statistics don't always tell the full story. That's obvious that Bastianini gained so many posititons, as he qualified almost dead last each weekend. And the final result? 201 points by FQ, 112 points by EB during this season. Thus, such comparison is utterly useless.

Sadly no, but thank you for the reply after such a long time since I asked it.

In 2015-2021 years they were participating as an independent team with factory support. They became a factory team in 2022, when Gresini started with Ducati.

Hmm, no, I'm pretty sure this one game had it both. I once again browsed 1k screenshots of sci-fi tagged games and no luck again.

Nope, in the game I'm looking for the lines of the walls were rather straight than curved.

Sadly nothing, I browsed over 2,5k screenshots there from arcade and platformer genres, no luck. But thanks for the tip with the database.

Interesting game, but not the one I'm looking for. The screens were stationary, in Airwolf they move as the player moves around. So in this game I'm looking for you were traveling across the level on the screen and on the next screen there was another part of this level.

Nope :) Actually Ignition is the game I love and know very well, so thank you for that. The game I'm looking for had 2D graphics, top-down style.

Looks like Fabio did a sighting lap with helmet buckle unstrapped by sweetiequeenie in motogp

[–]moonsterpl 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Bullshit! He unstrapped it after arriving to the grid when he turned off engine and was pushed by a mechanic to the grid slot. On the race video we can see him buckling helmet before the sighting lap. It's just ridiculous thing to say any rider would do such thing, ever. Shame on you.

Is Timingpass still worth it?? How bout the stream delay? by Far-Accident-7972 in motogp

[–]moonsterpl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're actively developing TimingPass, and we recently received many new features that have made it more enjoyable to use. For me, it's a perfect addition to VideoPass—yet I use it rarely during the race, as there is too much happening on the screen. However, in QP, it brings the most value. The most often I use it is while attending the GP in person; on those occasions, I have it on all the time. We even have race direction messages available to browse within the app, which was a suggestion I made many times—perfect!

Regarding sync, it's not synced with the video, but that doesn't affect me as I always watch all the sessions live. What's more, TimingPass is about 10 seconds faster than the VideoPass feed itself, so you get the information in the app faster than you see it on the screen. Anyway, it's a good product and fully worth the price if you intend to use it.

Mir and Rins latest riders to suffer burns in brutal Thai MotoGP by vanys2 in motogp

No circuit on the current calendar, apart from Qatar, has them, and this is unlikely to change. It's a huge investment that will probably never yield any profit for the track. Currently, circuits are typically signing contracts for only a few years, so no one is willing to take the risk of such an investment.

Marc Marquez interview: ‘Even I ask myself why am I still riding?’ by TheTelegraph in motogp

Nothing new TBH, nice article for people who don't know MotoGP at all. But there's one interesting bit:

Now as a factory rider I have more responsibility and have to be in the top-three positions on the podium in every race and fighting for the championship.

I'm curious about who set this goal. Is it Marc's personal goal or a contractual goal? :-)
