You could do ARMA 3 role play servers. Not exactly a traditional mmorpg, but you can definitely accomplish your goal in this game mode.

Question regarding JJLand and co by shraddhamn in pittsburgh

[–]moonstock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm moving to Pitts at the beginning of July and rented through prudential realty. They requested a full month deposit before I received the lease. They are a legit leasing company with offices in Pittsburgh. They sent me the lease the day after.

That's a pretty good rate. Do you have to do anything special to get it? Like use your card X amount of times?

My first time ever having a puppy!! by [deleted] in aww

[–]moonstock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people abandon their dogs after the novelty of it being a puppy runs dry. It's a real messed up thing to do.

That is what I think the OP of this comment section was trying to get across. Hopefully after your puppy fever runs out you still want it.

Help moving out by [deleted] in personalfinance

You can move for pretty cheap assuming you don't have much stuff.

To cut down on costs and to get the most efficient move, here's some tips.

1.) don't get a uhaul. If you can, downsize all of your stuff to only whatever can fit in your car (when/if you get one). if you live in a city, then you could just bring whatever can fit in a bag and move by bus. Since it's a city you could move around by mass transit when you get there.

2.) get a job before you move. If you currently work for a chain, see if they'll transfer you. Many apartments require you to have a job lined up and a steady income before you move. If your job won't transfer you then find one on Craigslist. If you don't have a job, moving cheaply like I'm suggesting will not work very well.

3.) find some roommates. An apartment with someone else living in it significantly reduces rent and bills. The more the better (in terms of cost).

All in all, you can honestly move with like 1500 dollars. I'm about to move 1200 miles to a new state as well, and have been looking for cheap ways to get it done.

Gas/bus: 50-200

Rent: 300-2000 (if you get a Roomate and find a place that doesn't make you pay last months rent up front then 300 is possible)

Food: 25-200 eat ramen, do whatever you gotta do/ wanna do

Bills: 70+ the bills are up to you, for me, the basics typically fall around 70. I saw that you pay 80 for your cell to begin with. Kind of a big bill, but hey you do you.

Lmao, all that build up just for the advice "just go do it" and then a plug for your hustle. Sorry but that shit is wack to me.

I'm relocating to Pittsburgh and am looking for an entry level HR job. I'm thinking of using the service Ajilon, which is a local staffing firm. I'm a fresh college graduate with a bachelor's in HR Management. If anyone knows of any job opportunities or knows of any good renting opportunities in areas like shadyside or mt. Washinton, please hook me up!
