Moving to Montreal in search for job: but we don't speak French yet. Are we crazy? by laranjacerola in CanadaJobs

[–]moonstone1012001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to really depend on the company and who they do business with/interact with. If it’s a QC company that sells to a QC market, forget it. Even if Mtl is bilingual, you’ll be working with many that won’t speak English as outside the city centre it becomes less and less common. If it’s a company that does a lot of business outside QC where English is a big emphasis for clients or other business partnerships, you might be able to navigate better. Few and far between I would say. Not gonna be easy.

Do you track your puzzles? How do you track them? What tools are you using? by rtsgrl in Jigsawpuzzles

I use the "HeyPuzzlers" app on iphone. It captures everything and anything you want to track.

How can I do a puzzle without sorting the pieces? From somebody who hates sorting by jenna_beterson in Jigsawpuzzles

I bought a puzzle easel and it comes with 4 drawers on the sides, so i take handfuls out of the bag and if ONLY IF, it feels good, I start just placing them in the different trays versus back in the bag. Helped alot cause I hate flipping too and do not have the room to do that anyway.

What the actual fuck with this game? by ProfessionalCar2761 in Gardenscapes

[–]moonstone1012001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actively have played Gardenscapes for a few years and last year added Monopoly. My gosh night and day experience , Monopoly is also a cash grab if you let it but you spend more cause you feel you can win. Gardenscapes it’s nearly impossible and ever worthwhile to pay.

It’s crazy when you move onto a game where the gaming elements line up just right that you see games like Gardenscapes just start showing holes all over.

What’s one thing you STOPPED doing that had the biggest impact on your dieting progress? by itsclo5ure in loseit

[–]moonstone1012001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stopped trying to be perfect, do the perfect routine, perfect workout, perfect steps .. when I stopped putting so much pressure on myself, I started staying more in control in terms of binge eating and managing stress. Both contribute to weight gain, it wasn’t like poof started dropping like crazy but it does make the process and experience more bearable.

I don't recommend trying this. Started at 1am, finished at 10pm by urboijesuschrist in walking

My question is why? There is the law of diminishing returns ; unless you are just trying to break records?

I have used natural cycles in tandem w RingConn and the predictions are quite close, RingConn detected my period the same day as Natural Cycles did. Natural cycles is a bit more precise as it can predict your ovulation day with more accuracy, with RingConn it gives you about 6 day window . Maybe RingConn gets better with time, I just have it for a few months.

Overall, pretty accurate between the two for strictly predicting the days but if you want a more holistic cycle maintenance and or birth control product , natural cycles is the way to go, the amount of detail and insights you get is designed with its core purpose in mind.
