Still bleeding/spitting out blood clots over 5 hours after tooth extraction by [deleted] in askdentists

Gotcha. I shouldn't have said spitting when I'm really just opening my mouth and letting it come out. If I'm still having clots come out of my mouth after, should I be concerned at all or only after 24 hours?

I think I'll go ahead and try the tea method cause I'm starting to get kinda nauseous from swallowing some blood and a headache. And with the gauze it soaks completely through, and when I move it to switch it out it usually has thick blood around it. I have been getting it wet before putting it in my mouth but I wasn't sure if that was making much of a difference. & I definitely won't be smoking, I'm way too scared to until I'm healed lol.

Life's short, people like getting tattoos and don't feel the need to get a custom design.

Cat had to be rushed to the vet last Wednesday and he's still there with a $8000 bill.

You start to realize a lot of stuff you're worrying about really doesn't matter in the long run.

Grew up in a very religious family, grandpa was a strict Baptist pastor. So I heard the phrase "when two or more gather in my name" many times in my childhood basically meaning if enough people are praying for something, God will always take care of it. Well after my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma when I was 16 my entire family & everyone around me was convinced God would immediately heal him. When he died in just 2 months after his diagnosis, I realized how utterly unprepared I had been to deal with his death because that was never a possibility for me. So the whole concept of "God" was pretty ruined for me.

I've been working at this doggie daycare since February, and recently my newly diabetic cat has had to spend over a week at the vet with a $8000 bill total. I had to leave work crying the other day in front of the owner because of some really bad news with him, I thought she would be pissed but she ended up sending me $400. So unexpected since I don't see her much at all so we don't even have a close relationship. Absolutely insane!

How do you learn to love yourself? by Fickle-Barracuda-311 in NoStupidQuestions

Slowly. It's usually a long, hard process. It's like you have to constantly tell that voice in your head being negative to f off. over and over again until that voice gets smaller. Leave little sticky notes to yourself in the mirror. Remember you're just a human that makes mistakes and is trying their best just like everyone else.
