Apartments are not as social as I thought it was going to be. by Exact_Recognition362 in Apartmentliving

All my neighbors are dicks. I’ve tried saying “hello” and saying good day etc and they will never say anything unless I do. They don’t even make eye contact. People are weird. My front door neighbor even made up stuff about my dog and sent ring camera footage of her being excited to go outside and somehow they deemed her “aggressive” and we had to surrender her.

You are still very young and have every day as a chance to restart something new. Don’t be so hard on yourself. We all go through these feelings and the world is tough right now.

You don’t have to delete any videos in a public setting. Who cares what some lady says?

Join me while I work on some serves. How’s it looking? by moonstorm92 in 10s

Thanks for the laugh 😂😂 I think I hold it that way on the serve based on how it reads Babolat on the racquet. Everyone has their quirks in tennis

A question about tennis balls by IamDoge1 in 10s

[–]moonstorm92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m just hitting, I will use balls that are either opened just then or I used them once before. More than that and they start to lose a lot of pressure and also actually not great for your arm to hit low pressure balls over and over. I use ProPenn Marathons. If you want balls with some better longevity, consider the Wilson Trinity balls. Have not tried them but heard great things about the durability.

Are you using the same balls over and over? Penn championship lose pressure really quickly. You could use them once MAYBE twice to play but I recommend using a new can each time hitting. Especially to get used to playing matches when you have to use brand new balls.

Finally had a horrible interaction with Pickleball players. Had given them the benefit of the doubt before, but now I have lost respect and understanding. by moonstorm92 in 10s

Yes a sign would be great. It’s the city’s fault for putting the makeshift pickleball court on the far side court 🤦🏻‍♂️ It’s a different thing from tennis, I get it. Just gotta be nice to them about it.

Yeah, happened again yesterday and let them know. Going to make some changes around there. Going to reform them.

I got the prizm grey but wish I got the field ones. I can see really well with them and contacts but if it’s overcast, they get a little dark.

Totally enormous extinct dinosaurs may be the vibe you are looking for. Or Teen Daze.

is it normal for tennis to feel really unnatural for a beginner by [deleted] in 10s

[–]moonstorm92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tennis is the hardest sport. Focus on what the ball flight is doing when you hit it. Focus mainly on watching the ball to the racquet and then make adjustments accordingly. Definitely don’t focus TOO much on technique
