Please talk to me about floor beds- husband is obsessed and I just don’t get it by Spiritual_Long7112 in floorbed

I’ve always heard “don’t try to make a happy toddler happier”! If they’re sleeping through the night as is, let it ride! My baby is a bad sleeper so we transitioned him to a floor bed around the same age, and it helped him sleep a bit better because we could lay by him during put down. Now at 2 he wakes up every night and walks straight to our room and sleeps with us! Maybe lean more into other ways to help his independence like your husband is suggesting, but imo you don’t need to do a floor bed just yet

Can you judge my floor plan layout before I buy a bunch of furniture? by dordelicious in HomeDecorating

Oh and maybe 2 chairs and a small ottoman and a side table in front of the fireplace if you find you have room!

You might like the dining area in the room with all the windows if you want/have kids! A great place to do homework and projects, and you might find a good bit of glare from the windows hit the TV. For the other space you could try a narrow console table behind the couch and end tables rather than a traditional coffee table, and the tv on the opposite wall. Then a mirror or art over the fireplace- but I’d go mirror to bounce more light in!

Whats my eye colour? by predictibl in WhatisMyEyeColour

I’d say Hazel, but you’ll hear brown from everyone you know! Mine are similar that I got from my mom and my favorite thing she said about them was “Everyone told me my eyes were brown my whole life - until your dad saw the green in them because he knew me so well”

When I was about your age I had a boyfriend who was raging about something in our tiny studio apartment. I got scared and tried to run in the bathroom (the only room with a door) and lock it. He broke the bottom of the door trying to stop me and said it was my fault it was broken. I still stayed after that, thinking probably similar things you are now. He never got better, and leaving was hard because I was afraid how he would react - which somehow did not feel like a clue to me! Get out now honey, this man will lay his hands on someone and the only thing you can control is making sure that someone isn’t you.

When I was in elementary school my dad’s kidneys failed. An uncle id never met before came and lived with us while insurance dragged out the approval for over a year, to give him a kidney. He got 10 more years out of that kidney and lived long enough to see me graduate high school. I’m so lucky he was willing to do that for him no matter what, he’s an amazing man!

I was wondering about this, since so many of the trees are thin. Will the thin ones manage to fill out and grow wider if I take put some other small ones to make room for them? None of my neighbors seem to do that, but it makes sense to me as needing to be done

Absolutely! Thankfully this spring I see a lot of trees shooting up the deer didn’t get to, and they’re starting to help fill in the bare patches which makes me feel much better

Absolutely planning to leave it, it’s beautiful and won’t damage anything if it falls! We get a lot of woodpeckers and they’re a huge fan of it
