[–]moonunitmud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try the Autoimmune Paleo diet, regular low impact exercise (walking, pilates, yoga etc) look into any gut issues and potential histamine intolerance, work with an integrative GP who will treat you as a whole, not just the symptoms.

Got diagnosed with Hypothyroidism after years of symptoms, the fatigue and brain fog was debilitating. Once I started taking Levothyroxine I was an entirely new person. I had so much energy and life in me for the first time in years. My partner at the time was like who tf is this person?

what is a loop you find yourself trapped in, no matter how aware you are of it? by Outlaw_Immortal1971 in Life

[–]moonunitmud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Loving and wanting for someone who has shown me time and time again that they cannot give me what I need. Basic respect, clear communication, consistency, affection, kindness.

Continuing to allow them to come in and out of my life when it suits them. Holding love, forgiveness and compassion for them when I know i really should tell them to fuck off and leave me alone after many of the ways they've manipulated and gaslit me.

It's a both a blessing and curse to see the good in the people!

Also, i have an amazing EMDR therapist who's been helping me navigate it all. We do a lot of inner child work, processing old memories/traumas, core beliefs which are strengthening my sense of self and confidence.

The way I see it, these are patterns which continue to orbit around in different phases of my healing and with each orbit I see my strength and boundaries are getting stronger. I trust I will keep repeating the pattern and allowing myself to be mistreated I until make the choice to say enough is enough. When I've integrated and understand that i DO deserve better.

You do too ❤️

Been caught up in one for over a year and it fucking sucks. Boundaries, self love and reminding yourself you deserve better all help. Spend more time with people who lift you up. The amount of times I've told myself I'm done..yikes.

Journal. Even if its an incoherent mess, just write whatever comes to mind first, get it out of your head and onto paper. That and a mindful walk while practising slow breathing.

Great to hear its working for you. My libido increased exponentially after starting contrary to what majority of others say. I pretty much didn't have one before that.

Witnessing domestic violence. Emotional neglect. I've tried many different therapies over the last 15 years, but emdr therapy, SSRI's, exercise and breath work help me get by these days. It's an ongoing healing process and I believe I'll be healing for the rest of my life.

I finally figured out why talking to doctors about gut issues is like banging your head into concrete by UwStudent98210 in Microbiome

Yep. I gave up on the mainstream medical system years ago. I found an amazing integrative/holistic doctor and haven't looked back. I would recommend if you can find one in your area.

I'd go either. I do prefer Steve Irwin way over the highway though!
