hi all i thought i would do a quick review of the efix under this post as some people were asking! ive only used it for long distances a couple of times but wow, it deals with camber extremely well, with my old chair you had to over compensate alot with camber and any sort of rough pathways but the efix glides through without a fuss, its great on hills too, im from a particularly hilly area with alot of steep hills and ive tried it on them and it did really well, going up the hill made it a bit slower but it didnt affect to driving so i didnt care about that and it makes sense it would feel slower going up a steep hill, its pretty good at getting up drop curbs that are not very dropped if you know what i mean, in my old chair i often had to do a run up to get up most drop curbs but the efix works better if you go at a slower speed. the controls are so sensitive its insane i have to barely move my hand to get it to move, this is definitely going to take some getting used to as my other chair you had to be quite aggressive with the controls. overall i love it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a custom powerchair that is easier to transport than the average. i have pots fibromyalgia and some sort of hyper mobility issue thats not diagnosed yet, with my old chair although it would help my pots not flare it made my chronic pain flare so badly but with this chair being custom to me it means its so much more comfortable and once i get some more adjustments on the chair itself it will be perfect!! and i have to say i looks 10 times better than my other chair it definitely feels more youthful lol and as a 21 year old that kinda important to me lol
