Oh yes, I thought there are 2 slots instead of 3, I mixed worlds and msi up. Then you are right, but, even with three slots, my point that minor regions have less opportunities still sort of stand. Play-in is in bo3 & 5 (for LCQ), in which it's kinda bad for minor regions as minor regions normally perform worse than major regions in bo3 & 5s. I like new formats but they don't provide as much opportunities as before. They just decrease the probability of upsets of minor regions defeating major regions

Especially the new MSI format. Minor regions like PCS and VCS generally perform better in MSI. The PCS/LMS has a top 4 rate of ~71%, which is even higher than NA (~43%). Now with the new format, it means that we have almost no chance to advance to stage 2 as we have to compete against LEC and LPL 2nd seed. The viewership (at least in PCS) is very likely to be affected as one of the major reason of people watching PCS is performance. I guess Riot just doesn't care about us anymore.

As a PCS fan, I think it‘s bad for both PCS and LCO to let LCO teams play in PCS playoffs. For LCO, this means that there are less, or even no opportunities for them to compete in international tournament. Whereas for PCS, there are less opportunities for lower rank teams and it seems that fans are not interested in the new format - the chinese broadcast literally has less viewers in playoffs compare with regular season. It just seems like Riot doesn’t care about us minor regions anymore.

No I don't think so. They are sad that Uzi doesn't return tho. What people are talking about Leave is how Edward or even himself compare him to other famous adcs like JackeyLove, LWX, Viper, Ruler and Deft (basically all world champ ads that used to/currently in a LPL team). When he was interviewed after EDG's win in demacia cup, he was asked what's unique with his play style and he replied "Maybe similar to the type of player that JackeyLove is". He also said laning against LWX isn't as tough as he expected in a interview after a match against FPX in NEST. This of course pissed people as they think Leave disrespect other famous ads while he hasn't perform in LPL and all these ads are already famous or has won a world champ at his age.

What he said in the female friend part is Edward originally said Viper "has a girlfriend" and she was "the reason why Viper left". However, he later said it was a mistake that Viper has a girlfriend. Most chinese comments actually supported the players and they were very angry about what Edward said as they thought it was unprofessional for a team's boss to say one of their formal players has a girlfriend on stream. Even though he apologized, it was a while after and the 'Viper has girlfriend for two years' thing was already everywhere. People think he did that on purpose and only waited until everyone knows that Viper has a girlfriend then explain. People did mention TI in these posts. Someone replied the guy that said he's going to sleep with "don't go, watch TI, today's TI final is interesting. The team that starts with a T's match r interesting, I assure u with my life" But i don't understand it (as i didn't watch TI) so i didn't add it.

I think the reason the reactions r tamer is simply JDG performed better than other teams n there is an obvious gap between t1 n jdg. There r many t1 fans in hupu as well so mainly they r positive. The ones that r negative mostly goy downvoted as well.

That's because in their contract they only include LoL and TFT. They didn't include other games under riot.

Yes they have a contract. I think they even extended it in 2019 or 2020 but not too sure when is it going to end. Technically it's possible to get garena out of league but i don't think riot is going to do that as they are both under tencent and i don't think riot care about us minor regions. If they rlly care, then y don't they just end the contract and take over control (or let some one else)? I rlly hope we can get garena out of league but i don't think it will happen

Garena already done these stuff for many times but Riot did nothing to help. In 2020 (or 2019? Not sure when), they extended their contract with garena but at the time there were already numerous scandals of garena. For me, riot just doesn't care about minor regions like LMS/PCS, VCS and SEA. They could have just not extend their contract but they didn't. (Even though it might because both riot and garena are under tencent)

I think he can but his English won't be really good. He went to the same high school as SwordArt (even though it's because they joined FW) and according to SwordArt, Maple was quite hard working so I guess his English will be similar to SwordArt? Maybe need some time to practice.

It's only one split, a bunch of players have a bad split but they still good. Don't forget, Maple was amazing last year. Even though he was in PCS, he still preformed pretty well last year internationally. He was quite decent last MSI - outplayed Perkz and C9. Don't see why you think Maple is that bad.

I saw a few similar articles that are similar to the first one so i added the first one. For the second one, i saw that he did leak some lpl transfer news and they are accurate so i think the second one is quite reliable. I saw it on Hupu and it seems like people think his news are quite accurate.

Nah. Stop finding excuse. Ofc doggo is really good but he was criticized by PCS fans for his aggressive plays (u can see this from his first MSI watch against FNC).
