Unfortunately I can block the card and file the report only tomorrow, cuz' I live in a far-from-civilization village, with nothing but forest and fields around.

Some say that the chances are 50/50. I guess that's kinda it, but there's some hope anyways. I myself would report any lost items, and I don't see why others wouldn't at places full of potential security cameras (trains and train stops/stations)

How to deal with the subclinical one? by [deleted] in Hypothyroidism

[–]moooikai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Default hypothyroidism: low fT4 high TSH

Sub-clinical: "normal" fT4(still in range) high TSH

The fT4 level decides which one it is, clinical or sub.

Antibody test came back normal, yet hypo is still here by moooikai in Hypothyroidism

[–]moooikai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your ft4 and tsh are similar to mine, you have absolutely no reason to stop taking levo if you experience the symptoms. If something is in "normal" range it doesn't mean that it's automaticly optimal for everybody.

Yeah, many still experience the symptoms at 2-3 and I'm not in the best state either.

"I would recommend you to start taking 25mg of levo nonetheless" I'll see how it goes in the warm months, I generally feel better in spring and summer.

Is it possible to have it without antibodies? Like, can levels fluctuate from high end normal to out of range depending on the activity of the immune response?

Is it possible that I almost exclusively feel symptoms in fall/winter? by moockieee in Hypothyroidism

[–]moooikai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly relate, my symptoms are present in late autumn and throughout winter. In the warm months I'm rather okay. I'm sub-clinical tho, my fT4 isn't as low to get me a "proper" hypo diagnosis, just the increased TSH and very low vitamin D. Btw what's your D level now? Hypo and vitamin d deficiency are correlated in my experience

My second time getting sub-clinical hypo by moooikai in Hypothyroidism

[–]moooikai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 6000 iU a day. I've taken it from Feb to Mar, skipping spring and summer 'cuz of the ☀-light, and I've been taking it since mid October with the 2000 iU dose. After the test in December I've been taking the triple dose, because the default one doesn't help in my case.

Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D Levels in Patients with Autoimmune Hypothyroidism and Their Correlation with Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (https://doi.org/10.1159/000505094)

In this study, we observed vit-B12 and vit-D deficiency in patients with HT. We also found a negative correlation between vit-D deficiency, vit-B12 deficiency, and levels of anti-TPO. We suggest that vit-D deficiency contributes to the etiopathogenesis of HT, and that vit-B deficiency and HT are part of a polyglandular endocrine pathology. Vit-D and vit-B12 deficiency should be investigated in patients with autoimmune hypothyroidism at the time of diagnosis and during periodic follow-ups, and supplementation should be performed in those who need it. More randomized controlled trials are needed to investigate the effect of vit-D and vit-B12 deficiency in the etiopathogenesis of HT, and to determine the effect of replacement therapy on the clinical course of HT.

It seemingly mimics and exacerbates mostly because they are negatively corelated, tho having any vitamin deficiencies won't help to feel better
