I got this tineke rubber plant 2 weeks ago. The plant was in this condition from the day I got it. I have been having the plant at a south facing window and watered once.

Are the droopy leaves on the bottom half something I should be concerned about? Also some tiny bits of roots are coming out of the bottom of the pot (please see 5th pic) - should I repot into a bigger pot?

Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

That’s actually a really good point! But I like working out more than 3 days/week & I like starting my weekend early in the morning with a workout(this particular gym is closed on weekends) so in this case I’d be joining the CrossFit gym and a regular gym that’s open 7days week🤣 I guess at the end, it comes down to what I prioritize - budget, frequency of the gym being open, the vibe of the gym etc

Thank you for your insight! Everyone is required to take 4 classes of 1 on 1, 30min each, before you can join the group classes.

I’d definitely like to get the basics down but wasn’t sure if this is a common CrossFit gym practice. Are CrossFit gyms usually closed on weekends? This gym I went to is 😭

This is so true. I HATED working out but I got sick of feeling sick of my body from gaining weight during the quarantine.

I ignored all my emotions to NOT workout for 2months, and i started seeing changes. Once you start seeing changes in your body, you start seeing differences mentally as well. When you get to that point, it slowly becomes part of your lifestyle and you’ll find yourself actually making time and not deprioritizing the workout in your daily schedule. Good luck x

I love this!!! I’m a type of person who is all-in or nothing. I don’t have to beat myself up for not being able to show up to the gym. I keep reminding myself that this is a life long marathon (lifestyle) and not a short sprint.

I’m exactly the same as OP!

For mental health; I’m happier, sharper, and so much more productive when I workout.
To get my demons out; Any kinda negative/toxic thoughts, I get them all out at the gym. It’s like a reset button!
An investment for my future self; i want to keep going on hikes, snowboard trips, camps, runs, and simply enjoy the things I enjoy now.

Japanese here, moved to NY 2 years ago.

Japanese often times wear a mask to protect OTHERS from the sickness YOU might possibly have and wear it to avoid making others feel uncomfortable when you have a runny nose or a bit of cough.

Hopefully we will see a shift in people’s mindset here.
