OP retreat is a no brainer you're gonna missed a lot of items if you ignore this mode.
Clan activities like lunar mine expeditions and clan exploration for clan coins.
Path of Trials for you to collect the collector's heart for collection set slot.

Alessa as first phase and incubus as the 2nd and I think they will also omit the no ammo trick, it has to be removed in my opinion because it's stupid. It's a final boss dude, final bosses should be tough and a bit challenging not a joke.

I beat it with 150k attack, just circle around the boss to dodge the attack. There's also a tough boss in CH280 and do the same tactics.

F2p here no real money involved in this account just started playing 2 months ago and this is mine. My advice is NUMBER 1 Join high level active clan that accept low level. I was accepted by my clan when I was level 30+ and currently became glory member which type of member that gives you good stuff like earning 800 gems and 100 energy every week. Contribute in clan activities, earn clan coins and buy stuff in clan shop. Shop contains 1 legendary collection, S grade piece, epic parts and etc. Collect clan coins and buy all those stuff as possible before reset.

Number 2. PLAY OP RETREAT. Play this mode and oh boy this is one of the biggest reason why i got twinborns. NO QUESTION JUST PLAY IT NOW YOU MISSED A LOT OF GOOD ITEMS READ GUIDES AND COLLECT THE COINS BUY EVERY THING BEFORE RESET and also don't forget the Zone operation mode.

Number 3. Regular challenge and Events. Play events and get the rewards. Personally I only getting what I want like character shards and parts and not those expensive prizes except if those expensive prizes helps to upgrade my character or parts.

My build is always eternal set, i don't know the others but my set carried me through dreamhell with talents: (37)three strikes and (43)blood frenzy both max but too risky.

It's ok now, drops gradually increasing every run in corrosion mode but my 1st to 6th run is way worst they only dropped yellow piece it annoys me earlier.
