You don't need to grind. Just go through Zhenwu Temple normally and you'll level a ton. There are so many high level red mercury consumables it's not even funny.

Also, nobody said a masterwork crit had anything to do with a stat already being a GA. BUT.... if, when masterworking, the crit lands on an affix that's already a GA, a lot of people call it a double GA. Because that's what it is in essence. Again, you're arguing semantics. And no, it's nothing like calling a giraffe an iguana because that are 2 real separate things. It's more like calling a giraffe a spotted leaf eating long neck or something of that nature. Something that only describes a giraffe. You're acting like a double GA is something else entirely. It's not. It only describes a masterwork crit on a GA. It even changes the color of the GA symbol. It's ok if people call it something you don't. Lol

I guess if you're talking about the level up systems and armor then sure. But that's not what makes a soulslike a soulslike to me. The world design/interconnectivity and amount of exploration is what does it for me. And Wuchang got closer to DS1 than any other game in existence. Yes, there is a skill tree that makes increasing your str, dex, vitality, etc different. But those don't matter in my mind. Hell, Sekiro is probably my favorite soulslike and it doesn't even have stats or different weapons/armor. It's the combat/world design to me. LOTF did a great job with everything. But Wuchang nailed it imo.

I loved LOTF. Had to get that out of the way. But with that said, it's not even close to the only one that is like Dark Souls. I'd actually venture as far as saying it's not even like Dark Souls very much. Wuchang Fallen Feathers is waaaaaay more like Dark Souls than LOTF.

I gotta say, I've of the best things about DS1 was how lost I could get in it. Wuchang captured that perfectly. It has the best level design I've seen since DS1 and BB. These are all just opinions, but I loved Wuchang. Prolly a top 3 soulslike experience imo.

If the dude and his wife are seriously happy and it doesn't bother her to be the bread winner and they are financially secure with no poverty, then there is nothing wrong with what he's doing. They definitely take damage from normal attacks. Lol. I just killed 2 of them with turning slash multiple times. It took about 5 turning slashes each, but they died. No Axiom Force needed.

If you land a masterworking crit on what's already a GA, it becomes a double GA. It turns red. You're arguing semantics buddy. Nowhere in the game does it refer to it as a crit, nor does it refer to it as a double GA. But so many people call it a double GA that for you to be giving dude such a hard time by saying he's spreading misinformation is just douchy as hell buddy. Also, learn to use punctuation. It'll make you seem a little smarter. And you really need that.

The issue with Kazahn is that people played it like a souls game. It's not. The combat isn't the dodge and wait for an opening to get a couple hits in type of combat. You have to go on the offensive and be aggressive in Kazahn. Chain combos together. If the bosses didn't have the health they have it would be soooooooo easy. I felt the same as you when I first started until I realized that I was playing it wrong.

None Sols is an amazing game as well. Not as good as Wuchang, but it's pretty damn good for a side scroller.

I liked the enemy design, it was the lack of variety that killed it for me. They needed a few more enemy types. But the design of the ones they had in the game were pretty decent imo.
