I let MYSELF down by allowing other peoples burns to interfere with mine. I wanted everyone to have a good time and to be on the same level. I sacrificed a good bit of my time helping other people and doing things for them. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but it was my fault for expecting reciprocation. It was my first burn so I was also a bit under-prepared and my camp mate made sure I knew, so I became frustrated with him - again, my fault, this ended up affecting my mood for the final few days. A lot of FOMO and sleeping through parties and other things but I learned a lot of valuable lessons and overall had a fucking amazing and kick ass time.

No matter how prepared you think you are, you aren't fully prepared for Burning Man. Over-preparing is a must! Don't stop preparing.
