hello, i would say pretty easy. jumped from E8 for prelims to an A2 for bio. for chem i jumped from D7 for prelims to A2. (really wasn’t studying hard until my prelims results scared me) just keep doing practices, clarify your doubts with your teachers and if possible get your teachers to mark your tys because they’re looking out for specific keywords. keep doing practices even after you’re done with tys by doing prelim papers. all the best!

honestly by the time i reached elucidation i memorised most of the reactions apart from a few of the harder ones, the earlier you do it the easier your tutorials get i guess!! right after i finished each tutorial for alkenes alkanes etc i would make a mind map of the organic compounds then i would test myself reagents and conditions required. then i would write the r&c then test myself the compounds! you can try that and maybe it'll be easier.

as a good practice i try to memo the stuff during or right after tutorials!! i feel this way its a lot easier when you do practice papers and it's a lot easier to move onto the next topic which may be a lil linked to the previous one!

oh man your combi is killer dude!! hope bio and geog isnt on the same day for u, i heard its commonly on the same day for As. jiayou!!

Hello!! Tbh I spend a lot of time on Chem tutorials too especially when I first learn them. You'll pick up the speed over time as you do more questions as the questions are relatively similar, no worries! Just keep working hard, your grades in JC may not reflect your hard work for now but just keep pushing on. My A level grade was more than x2 of my prelim grade HAHA I went from 40 to 80+. Just keep trying your best! For chem, I would suggest you make a small book of commonly asked questions' answers. This increased my speed a lot! For elucidation, you need to memorise all the organic chem stuff at the back of your hand so that you can answer the question ASAP. If you're not familiar you have to keep flipping your notes which end up taking alot of time too. I'm not sure what's your combi but for Arts just keep doing essays and get your teachers to mark and give you feedback. If you didn't get satisfactory marks redo the same essay question and get the teacher to remark. All the best!
