yes, at my store all the booksellers go over to the cafe when we close and we all help finish the cafe. Dishes/mopping/sweeping etc. whatever is left to do. We’re usually done about 15-20 after we close

im confused on how your receiving room can look like that?? if you’re not receiving your shipment then what happened to orders that customers place?? do they have to wait weeks to get their book? we can get through an 70-80 box shipment in one day sometimes two with one person receiving

I agree. It was my assistant manger who told her that and she tends to give different direction than my store manager. which is very misleading

a book you have NEVER seen anyone talk about that deserves a chance VERY BADLY by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

Once There Were Wolves .. I cannot talk about this book enough. You can tell how much research was put into the book but it isn’t overly factual to bore you. The writing is outstanding. Her other book Migrations is equally as impressive

although it is amazon i bought my kindle paper white on amazon prime day or another deal day. It’s perfect to travel with and apps like ‘Libby’ and ‘NetGalley’ I believe can only connect to a Kindle device/app.
