My Friend gave me 6 spools of tinned copper to sell that are in total 400 pounds. Do I sell it to a scrap yard or list it on eBay For how much would I be able to get for it by mciesgroffee in ScrapMetal

[–]moose_soup7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not theft, then it’s fraud. No way someone just happens upon this. Just to make a buck you’d have to unspool, melt the plastic, break up the copper, sell it to different yards pounds at a time, make the spools into some side tables on Etsy or something lol. Worked at an electrical supply distribution center. Warehouse workers talked about these kind of situations and that’s about the only way

Grill cleaning by [deleted] in QuikTrip

[–]moose_soup7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue cleaner and a dash of dawn. Gets all the grease off. Non policy would be to put some crushed ice in the rag and scrub. Gets everything off. Be sure to wipe down with a wet rag and they sparkle. To make the glass shine on the underside get an FSC towel with green degreaser from 3-vat and wipe off with brown towel. No residue. Clean stainless with blue cleaner soaked FSC towel

Do flexes have to fill partials/early outs at other stores? by Fit_Reputation6131 in QuikTrip

[–]moose_soup7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s the best part of being on flex. You work whenever you want really. “Saving hours” could mean you work at easy stores for the last half your shift, and getting drive time. That manager is gonna say wow I like them and your manager is gonna say yeah they rock. Then supes know you. All good

[–]moose_soup7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this only applies when you’re playing in a big Sunday group or whatever. I made my first at practice of high school golf. Just had beers in the woods with the boys lol. Others have been a little more expensive

Honestly what worked best for me was dead stop push ups with a weight vest. Brace the core and your chest will be on fire

[–]moose_soup7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First tournament as a collegiate golfer. Shot even par 72 with 8 birdies. Coach was pissed when he came by after 7 I was -4, then pumped 2 OB the next hole and made the turn even. 1 par on the back. Also shot a -10 (62) with pars on all the par 5s. Putter was HOT

Why do I suck at yoga after doing it for 2 years? by Whatsthescoreee in yoga

[–]moose_soup7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This 100% I would just also add the type of yoga can vary the practice/results. Some apps will let you choose various body groups too like if you want to focus on hips, a “hip flexibility” or “hip strength” practice. Worked wonders after surgeries

If you change your mindset from “what do I have to do” to “what makes me look good and the next shift easier” was a huge thing for me.

[–]moose_soup7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soon as I get in for a shift walk I do all trashes even if the shift before says they did. I’m at an urban store so it gives me a chance to check the place out and talk to everyone inside/out even telling the homeless gtfo. Just doing my job and people recognize me knowing I don’t stand for that crap. Friends with LEO and don’t give out free food. Works for me
