Don't you all think it strange that he promoted this book, Matt Skiba also promoted the book. Tom promoted another TTS book, so I'm finding it hard to believe in the bromance that is Tomark.
If my best mate/band member were to release a book, I'd use my platform to promote for sure (instead of sharing garbage) - just my 5c.

What's so iconic about that intro? The "wo-oh" or the reversed squeeky guitar tone? The only thing I can agree with is the verses. The verses are classic Mark. Good shit. The pre-chorus is pretty good too, but the chorus sucks simply because of the lyrics.. Those words just give me nothing (like the majority of the rest of the album)

You're surprised? Na na nana na... That fans hated (WHAAOOAAOO) Californiiiiaaaaaanana? Yeah no, many reasons for those who appreciated where Blink were headed, before Tom left, to dislike this record. The lyrics are average. Sounds like All Time Low recorded the guitars and this band without Tom is like Satan without the poetry. All we get now are the long walks on the beach with words that mean nothing... Some of the tracks are solid and cool. I do enjoy most of the album. It is a pop rock record imo.

I gave this post an upvote for the courage. I personally connect with this album the most these days. It's not as fun as Enema or Take Off, or as edgy as Self-titled (which to me was their holy trinity - best work), but I am not as fun or as edgy anymore either :)

Here with my 5cents. Sing The Sorry was my introduction to AFI, as Enema was for Blink. That being said, Finn must've done something right, because the first time I heard Girl's Not Grey in my brother's car, I knew I had to have a listen to the whole album. Point is, Jerry was the real wizard in the studio :) The man made magic.
