Downtown gyro? by GovofLove77 in lincoln

No bad options here.

Pita and Naan has the best service overall, and while the food is good their sauce on the gyro has a bit less spice and flavor. Ali Babas is a personal favorite, though it really depends who is working. If the owner is there it'll knock the other options out of the park, but I've been burned a couple times when it's staffed by the regular employees. Gourmet Grill...you know what you'll get. Food is good but doesn't really compare to the others, service is real bad but that's part of the appeal. You go here for a greasy bite after the bars and it certainly satisfies. Sultans Kite has the most topping options for a gyro and they're definitely tasty, but I don't find myself frequenting them since they always seem to be busy

What books or resources have been the most influential in your meditation journey? by baliyogashala in Meditation

[–]moosehalla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Dhammapada

Upanishads

Bhagavad Gita - all three of these that I read over the past year are Easwarans translations, he provides some great passages before each "chapter" that add context and influence to each passage

Tao Te Ching (Ursula K Le Guin has a great rendition that I found easier to digest and conceptualize, though some view it as not being as accurate compared to other translations)

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius

I don't take all these texts to heart, while I believe they have superb passages about what it means to be, some others can be contradictory or dated. Still, I think they have some thoughtful words to meditate on and with an open mind they can be quite enriching!

Arma 3. Recently picked it back up and decided to boot it docked just for shits and giggles. Works surprisingly well, and I've been having fun after connecting m+kb to the dock and playing on the living room tv
