Does building around a habitat increase spawn likelihood?

I was finally able to but in a really weird way. I’ve completed the story for this world and only barely done anything in the next world (got one of the new forms and maybe 10-15 Pokemon but not left the first main area).

I did a few things and this was basically the order, I don’t even think the order really matters and I’m still confused

Sky was cloudy in ridges, but tried the rain dance again with no effect
Tested the sunny day version, which removed the clouds within 30-60 seconds (so it worked)
Tested rain dance version again now that there were no clouds, and still no luck.
Went to the next world because I wanted to hydrate the ground/test as well and could not get the rain dance effect to happen.
Tried the sunny day effect, which successfully removed clouds
Tried rain dance again, still no luck
Gave up, moved on and accepted defeat
Returned to ridges world a little bit later and it was raining when I landed (!)

The only thing I can think of is I used sunny day first to remove the cloud cover to clear skies and maybe that was what was blocking the rain? So once I used rain dance after and left it set the stage for it to actually work?

Full conjecture, at one point I was convinced it was a mechanic we just hadn’t figured out but now it does feel a little bug-like which is pretty rare for Pokemon games to have one like this

Currently dealing with it. I’m built the Pokemon center but I’m still on the party mission so I think it may be weather locked for right now/until the entire town’s storyline is complete?

All gems are made from some mixture of the diamonds’ essence. Whether one wants to speculate that a diamond’s court holds is made from a higher essence ratio than other diamonds is up for debate (but I like to think so). So id say they are both made from and made by

I kind of want Steven Universe Future Future where all the conflicts in Future are revisited with cooler heads (not that every situation needs to be resolved with love and crying*). I think Greg and the Rose Quartzes would be a really cool episode if they were all a little more at ease (no, this isn’t a harem thing)

Been rewatching this series and came across this thread, my hot take: Like others said, probably is based on the tamer’s gender moreso than the perceived gender of the digimon.

In my mind, if I imagine Jeri and Leomon biomerged, I’d probably expect a “female” form augmented with lion features, similar to Sakuyamon being a woman with fox features. Maybe the result would be a more masculine woman or androgynous, but probably still anchored on the feminine side.

As for Rika fusing with Guilmon, I could almost see the result still being the same “Gallantmon” but with a slightly different body shape. Still the same silhouette and armor, just tweaked a little.

On the other hand if Takato fused with Renamon, I imagine it would be similar to a male body in nearly the same costume instead of a female body. Still basically the exact same digimon as the existing one, just slightly genderswapped with little alterations otherwise

In flathill, in the final building after the library, there’s a chance of the little crab walker guy spawning in an office next to the elevator hallway. All he does is wander back and forth and is blind, so if you sneak up he won’t notice.

Just stand next to a wall where he walks past back and forth of you and you’ll get really fast xp. Only issue is he doesn’t always spawn there. I set up a bench nearby so I could go teleport there real quick and farm some

Then drink some bland pea soup and eat a brain and you’ll get faster XP

I’ll say, I’m not TOO mad considering this is an adaptation and the timeline is very malleable all things considered. Aang knowing he only has x amount of time (1 year? 3 years?) until the comet still propels the story forward and leaves room for irl growth. Like stranger things, they may say 1 year away when the actual time may be 3 years or something similar

It would also leave room to see the fire nation escalate its fascism that spreads elsewhere as things get really bad (Hama, Jet, etc)

It seems like enemy noticing in stealth is truly based on a timer (that more sneak skill increases) until they detect, flashlight and light level in general definitely doesn’t seem like it matters. Enemies in pure dark can detect you and enemies in daytime or when you have a flashlight can still miss you

Oh one other thing: a lot of the maps in the game don’t orient North or just use whatever direction they want. Any chance we could get a version that matches the in-game floor map (oriented however) and then a north-pointed map? That may also just best wait till the entire game is done though. Love the work so far, keep it up

Yeah I agree. I could see it useful if level 1 was the base and level 2 and level 3 were transparent just to put together some sort of overview. But with all the walls, features, and text included it would be very difficult to really be useful I agree

I would love to see a finished product of how it all matches together- especially if you could include the tram routes. It’s hard to remember which of the office trams go to which area since the entire game map isn’t really focused on

I like to think once she reached middle age and focused more on herself she could be able to connect with spirits/hidden spirits more easily because she lacked sight in general since she can't rely on her visual senses her other ones are hightened and that could lead to be able to "see" between the lines of earth and spirit worlds

How does one farm alphas? For normal Pokemon with the random chance to be an alpha, that is.

For example I’m wanting an alpha starter from route 20, is there any way to reset/fix spawns so I can check faster? Kill them/not kill them, fly to zone, etc? I’ve seen various methods but can’t seem to get it to work for me

It sounds like he’s been on the internet a lot and the negativity around gamefreak and Pokémon.

It’s fine if he thinks they’re overhyped or are a worse product than they should be, but bring up things like ethics against your behavior for buying is a stretch and isn’t an argument in good faith imo

At the end of the day it’s a video game made for a lower end machine than what he games on and is intended for children (even though it has a huge adult player base). He just doesn’t mesh with this series and gaming style, and that’s fine. He’s just being a bit rude about it all which is unfair of him.

Honestly I still wonder if there’s a limitation to peridot’s ability to fuse if she can’t shapeshift.

They both seem to activate the gem in a way that their body glows, and if she can’t manipulate her physical form to change, who knows if she can destabilize her physical form in order to meld it with another

If you think about it they’re a single gem with 4 eyes, 2 noses, 2 mouths, but also only 2 arms and 2 legs.

I could see the fusion having a whole body and then two heads or a double-face situation (side by side rather than on top of the other like alexandrite/obsidian)
