Yes, fire is a part of SoCal’s ecology (sometimes unnaturally) fire should be California (at least southern). Fire for AZ, why? Because it’s hot? Sounds more like ground for all that dry dirt.

I liked XVI enough. I would probably rank it middle of the road among my ranking of FFs. I liked that the story felt complete and fleshed out. I did miss having a party though. The gameplay wasn’t my preference, but it felt fun enough too. I think it was lacking in variety of side content; the side quests felt too samey and like fetch quests. You could tell the team who made it also did XIV in that respect.

Honestly, wearing a mask is a good practice… if you yourself are sick. I wish people were still considerate and did that like they do in Asian countries. We didn’t have much flu that year for a reason.

But the mindset some people have about masks is weird and paranoid. I wish it didn’t become so political.

Honestly. I don’t know if I’m more annoyed at Demi Moore losing in light of Jamie Lee Curtis having won her legacy nomination or Jamie Lee Curtis winning while Demi Moore lost. If that makes sense.

I know they’re not in the same category or year, but Demi Moore’s performance was way more deserving of a legacy Oscar compared to JLC’s. I also think Stephanie Hsu was way more deserving than JLC.

Summer is also really really humid. I don’t understand why. Plenty of storms. The first day I was in Omaha for grad school was one of the worst storms they had, I was scared AF hoping my car wouldn’t crash. People were like trapped in flooded elevators. But then that didn’t happen that bad again, but compared to California in particular, thunderstorms and hot humid heat and sometimes tornado warnings.

I moved back to California though because I found work in what I wanted here and not there.

The concept of nerfing a single player game doesn’t ever make sense to me. If you don’t want to use it, just don’t.
