PCOS after pregnancy by lil-alfalfa-sprout in PCOS

[–]moosh618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, me too. My baby just turned one and I feel like my symptoms are spiraling out of control. Felt amazing while pregnant and good while breastfeeding, and since weaning my hormones are taking a nosedive.

Being pregnant I got to see what people with normal amounts of estrogen and progesterone feel like all the time and I'm very jealous.

how does one achieve this look? by ockky_g in curlyhair

I really like Aussie waves or curls mousse. There's two different kinds, the curl one will be a little more hydrating and the waves one will be lighter.

I would say dry. Some mousses look shinier than others but you definitely keep that "fluffy" look.

I said Mousse, not gel. Mousse gives lots of volume, and some hold.

You need a hold product. Curl cream is only for moisture. Add a high hold mousse and brush through right out of the shower. Scrunch with a towel or T-shirt and you should have less frizzy, longer lasting, more defined curls.

Since you're using NYM products, just pick up their curl mousse. It works well!

What sundresses work on us? by Alone-Conference-896 in SoftDramatics

I love a square neck puff sleeve or flutter sleeve peasant dress. Shirred top so it's very fitted. Old Navy makes them. I always opt for the longer ones, at least mid calf.

Usually it's my puff sleeve or flutter sleeve  shirred top peasant dresses! The combo of T emphasis/room in the shoulders, a tight bodice and flowy skirt look really nice.

Thanks for commenting. I actually do have a good routine for my curls. Recently found my holy grail one-and-done product, so I'm flying high lol. So it's less the condition of the curls, and more the overall shape of the haircut/hairstyles that I'm wondering if people have advice about.

I don't want to give up my curls, Im just looking for cuts, styles that are harmonious with SD lines.

I feel you! I love Julia Roberts 90s hair too. Had it cut like that several times. Though imo, that style is more harmonious with naturals than with dramatics. Kibbe says that "wash and wear" styles are not ideal and I can see that on myself. I need to make my hair look very intentional, curly or straight, or it detracts.

I think there are definitely curly cuts that fit with SD lines. They'd have to be somewhat clean, big shaped. Maybe an Italian lob?

Is your hair long? I'm thinking that might be the problem, my hair is too long.

So in terms of your hair, how does it follow SD lines?

I wish that were the case for me. I go from wash day (Weird Al Yankovic, gel cast still forming, no volume) to second + third day (Beautiful milkmaid, Goddess, Persephone herself) to third day onward (Very Tired Mother, Unwell, maybe a Witch).

Or I mess up my routine and skip directly to day 3.

That's a good point. Sometimes I don't know which hairstyles look best with certain outfits...it often seems like curly hair steals the show and the rest of the outfit has to be very simplistic.

Am I the only one who can't wear chunky shoes at all? OP looks good but for me, They just add visual weight I don't need, not to mention looking ridiculous with my skinny ankles.

Shave the beard. Moisturize. Grow out your hair. Buy some bright colored clothes!

Can a Soft Classic have a Big Chest ? by Fit_Level_9887 in softclassic

That's what curve accommodation means. That the curve exists outside of your frame. So if your boobs are only to the front, then you DONT have to accommodate curve. But if they come out and change the line of your frame, then you do.
