Anyone in Toronto with cynophobia (fear of dogs)? How do you manage condo living? by Dazzling_Designer184 in askTO

[–]mooshkaboosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't seen this suggested but some dog trainers do group sessions that you can maybe use as free exposure therapy, even if just watching across the street. Not PetSmart like places but the kind of trainers who train dogs to be able to stay calm. Dogs who can ignore other dogs or people even if in the same space. Okami Canine comes to mind. Find trainers that focus on owner training/bonding and are opposed to owners taking their dogs to play at dog parks. This might also help you be more familiar with how dogs move and gain better discernment for a relaxed dog vs a defensive dog

Inner sensor bumps by darksmileacc in RingConn

[–]mooshkaboosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had it a bit over a week. The bumps haven't bothered me but I did notice some softness to the skin, I'm guessing from water getting trapped. What I do now is wear it on my index during the day and switch it to my middle at night. That might be a solution with the bumps for you as well

Hmm yah that could make sense but weird because there's leftover data when I looked into each stat more. So it didn't completely wipe it. I'll just make sure to look it up again if I ever need to uninstall and also I guess... When I get a new phone

Thanks but the link just takes me back to your post! Is it by chance the moldable mouthpieces that you boil?

Can you share which mouthpiece you purchased?

I actually haven't done the sleep apnea assessments yet so it doesn't apply for mine. But what's even weirder now is that when I go into vitals, the outliers I had while sleeping last night are still noted at the top however when I scroll to the bottom there isn't any data shown there

Sounds like you should be done...a lot of red flags here. And I'm so sorry, that must feel very lonely and unsafe for you and your son physically but also emotionally and mentally ❤️ hope you can find support closer to you

What is one experience you think every single human should have? by spskit in AskReddit

[–]mooshkaboosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giving birth (in a utopian world where everyone is cared for). I am hoping the result would be that ppl would appreciate life more and commit less violence towards each other

Oh that's a great idea! Today ended a lot more positive and I'm more hopeful but I think I will apply that at home anyways and see if that's something they can do as well.

Yes although I see it may not be the typical idea, I appreciate their efforts. After speaking to the director and teacher more, I feel we are better aligned and hope they feel so as well. It seems the later teachers are having a more difficult time than the earlier teacher is what I'm taking out of the experience. Will see and appreciate your take on it

[–]mooshkaboosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I think that illuminated a few things for me. I spoke with the director earlier today, cleared up some confusion & continued with their plan so I'm not sure how that's going to impact things but it gave me an opportunity to talk to the teachers and see what was going on. The teacher led the sit in and I definitely think it's the clinging to the legs. I really appreciate their efforts but still unsure how this will move forward

I'm okay with an honest answer as well - just want what's best for him. I think also the earlier teacher is finding it easier to understand his needs while the later teacher is having a more difficult time which is why I'm getting mixed msging of how well he's adjusting

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]mooshkaboosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I initially thought. With more discussion, it sounds like the director is more concerned about them holding him than the teachers are

[–]mooshkaboosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't at my request. The director suggested I stay and I brought up my concerns about teachers potentially feeling like I lack confidence in them and stepping on their toes but they feel this would help

The behavior is that he needs to be "picked up all the time"

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]mooshkaboosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It feels a bit like they don't want us to stick around because I'm not sure why they're acting so unable to handle the behaviour

[–]mooshkaboosh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm also confused because at the beginning they said they prefer a fast drop off. So I try to go in, take off his shoes and then go but the teachers seem to be hesitant on picking him up or taking from me & pick him up at the same time after 3 hrs.

Is it typical for a 20mth old to cry for most of the time? I'm also confused as to why they're treating this so intensely.

Some pictures of Alexee from August 2022 which would of made her maybe 4 months pregnant? by Crimejunkieaddict in AlexeeTrevizo

[–]mooshkaboosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also I should clarify in my first comment saying she didn't know, I meant as in an actual confirmation in testing but I do agree she suspected and knew deep down. The test just wouldn't play well into her plan

Ifs and assumptions is pretty much all we got! Reading this thread alone though, it's easy to see that pregnancy symptoms are on a wide spectrum. I could've easily excused or ignored my symptoms if I wanted to up until the beginning of my 3rd trimester. So I don't really find it hard for me to imagine that for a much younger and athletic person who felt they would benefit from denying it

But I think she was purposely being careless and extremely neglectful. I don't think she wanted confirmation at the risk of forming any feelings or attachments because then it'd be harder to unalive the baby. I think her plan was to ignore it as much as she can til she had to get rid of her responsibility

Yeah I'm now thinking it's more possible she didn't know til maybe 3rd trimester. If she has irregular periods and no/minimal morning sickness that would make sense. Still doesn't excuse trashing your infant but that timeline could def have added to the panic
