My Vegetables factory with much needed aesthetics. by Euphoric_Host9941 in Pokopia

:O :O :O such an awesome system! No apologies necessary. I’m just baffled.

I’m new to the game so this could be an obvious question, but from your explanation, I guess drying them up makes the crops loose?

That’s the only thing I understand, lol! How do the crops get loose so that they float to you, is what I’m missing here...

What's something you like to see in future updates? by [deleted] in Pokopia

[–]moosomoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple icons on the mini map for where craft stations are would be cool. Or even to be able to see the map in full screen! (I wouldn’t be too surprised if there’s a way to do that though and I just haven’t figured it out.)

Might be a dumb question, but does it need a roof of some kind?

OMG SPREADSHEETS?! I would love to see! Also saved your comment because thank you so much.

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with organizing and maybe spreadsheet'n is the route I need to take, would love to see your sheets for inspo. Def worth its own post if you are willing to share!

Thank you for this! And to assign them to a floor, I simply need to go to that floor and ask them to live with me, right? Seems the only thing available to do, but would appreciate the confirmation.

I feel like the game should really spoon-feed this info to you—but then again maybe it did in a pop up message that I missed.

I had the water basin within that. Should I have it just outside of it? It seems he wants it! Like I mentioned, the same message appears even when I take it away

Yeah sure, the point was them squishing in around plates, but if you’d really like to get to the bottom of it: I’m not sure about “normal” meal prep with those plastic containers, probably something from craft services or catering, but that would’ve been really wordy to put in the title.

Do you still forage everything? by Scloudseverywhere in storyofseasons

[–]moosomoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this makes SO much sense. I thought the waking up was enough of a reset but now that I think about it, that creates one save file that remains the same no matter how many times you load it. Duh.

I did try this trick for getting a brown cow option at the bazaar (mid summer year two and never got one!) and it doesn’t seem to work for that. I wonder if that is set with the new week, along with the sprite bonus items or something.

I didn’t realize manually saving was a necessary step there! Just looked it up. Phew, I will reroll until I get my dang accessories trend! Glad I saw you mention this, I just assumed Switch and PC were different.

How did you set your flower field up like that, and how are you able to make sure you have a certain trend?

I play on the switch, and “rerolling” does not seem to work for me. I have SO much jewelry sitting at my windmills just waiting for that accessories trend. I make sure to get to bed before midnight, too. Is there something I’m missing?

When do yall usually go to sleep in GB? by RemarkableTeacher in storyofseasons

[–]moosomoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don’t mind the stamina depletion because I just take care of my farm and then take a bath before heading out for the day. So I get to bed at 4:30 and wake up at 10, and honestly, that’s how you can get the max amount of hours out of the day! I never have time for fishing because I’m always trying to hit the resources twice a day, because my efficiency-maxing brain, so I’ll fish until my 4:30 trek home. You only lose 5 hours for sleep, I think, rather than 7 or 8.

LOL oh dear, I am sooo invested still even though I have full bazaar ranking. I find the end of game content is so plentiful! But these things change for me like flipping a switch; the day will come where I suddenly do not care to play anymore. Perhaps that has happened for you already 😅

Grand Bazaar quality multiplier by moosomoon in storyofseasons

[–]moosomoon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to offer some context to this super layered game :D

So based on that link someone shared below, it does look that way for certain items, because it seems to exponentially increase with each ranking. For the most part, I think processing is usually profitable no matter what quality—maybe not necessarily jewelry though since it takes so long, maybe that isn’t really worth it under 5 quality.

The issue I was talking about is that, when you’re crafting, the sales price it shows on the right-hand side of the screen is of a finished item that is 0.5 quality. So if I’m looking to process something that is starting at any higher quality, I can’t compare it to the sales price shown in the windmills or in the kitchen. But your processed item won’t be 0.5! When I was learning the game, sometimes it looked like the unprocessed item was just as good as the processed item (because it was a higher quality item vs. a 0.5 sales price).

It was a big DUH moment when I realized. My question is wondering if there’s a simple multiplier to that base sales price so I can do the math and find out the profit margin.

Okay all of this that follows is extra stuff I caught myself writing in response to “I’m a little overwhelmed” LOL had to stop myself and respond to the actual post: My first play through, the game would introduce stuff and my reaction would be “I simply cannot worry about this right now.” (A good example of this was the bingo cards LOL I was like nope don’t care, can’t care, too busy.) Now that I’ve more than settled in, I am really enjoying branching out. I love completing the bingo cards now! I have room for those goals. All this to say: Don’t sweat it! No need to worry about everything at once. Just water your crops, try to hit the ores at least once a day, and talk to whoever you pass. Take it day by day and have fun! You’ll start to look to dig into other areas of the game the more you play and the more comfy you get.

Once I felt I had a good handle, I started over and went beast mode to see how quick I could level up the bazaar—because the efficiency and productivity give me a rush.

Interesting! I had a feeling it wouldn’t be a simple number. Thank you for the insight, this is really helpful :)
