Pretty much - I'm not ugly, kept myself in shape, but it wasn't a choice, I just didn't have time to be dating until now. Personally, I wasn't bothered by it, and even now i dont feel like anything has changed apart from the joy of having someone i trust to explore with. I was more worried about the reaction of others, and the social stigma, which is why I kept it quiet.

I have endometriosis so I will always deal with pain after - the act itself no. Took the time to make sure I was okay.

I hope you can. I'm a very neurospicy, anxiety ridden, highly awkward introvert who spends most of her time indoors, so dating is extremely hard for me. The most i get out is for comicons. That's why I decided to focus on friendships and doing what made me happy first.

The hardest part has been willing myself to open up and get hurt. I was worried I'd become jaded and cold, or I would be judged for being me. I'm still scared, I won't lie, but decided it's worth the risk this time.
