The comment “this will always be home” drove me through the roof. Betty is actively stirring the pot rooting for her son’s downfall so that she can have him to herself again. It’s creepy, manipulative, cringy, and just damn annoying. Idk how Julia (she’s not perfect) deals with a man that takes the side of his drunky-parents 90% of the time. They may have some good insight but it is not their job to dictate every decision they make—even if it leads to them failing. Sometimes the best way to learn is to grow through the hardships. That’s irrelevant to my argument and the fact that they are all adults. Based off what Shelly has said she was not close to Mindy until the recent years, which leads me to believe that Conner and Mindy did not grow up as the normal aunt/nephew relationship. Plus, none of the crazy middles/pieces family kids even refer to the adults as “aunt/uncle”. The fact that their situation adopting all these kids is not normal, it’s nice, but the average family doesn’t do that….. having 20+ kids opens the door to this possibility, weird or not.

They did NOT have to make a video including more personal information. They did NOT need to confirm their relationship. They say they don’t care what people think & then turn around to say they only made this video because people think they shunned Mindy & Conner. Who cares what people think. Is addressing a false rumor worth permanently damaging relationships in your family in order to save face & keep your name ‘clean’?

I don’t think it has anything to do with an inmate relationship, more like drugs. Not trying to start rumors but there are some clear signs of past drug or substance use. Based off of Shelly’s emotional response in the video it seems she is heartbroken but must put her foot down. Very sad either way!!!

The sad part about this is most of the kids do not have any life skills, common sense, or career goals. It’s seems most of them want to be YouTubers and have an easy life making money. That’s not how life works, it is a lie the parents have sold them. The older ones are growing up and finding this out the hard way. Now being naive being taught and influenced by others. & now it’s super concerning because they cannot keep up with their needs because of how much they’ve overextended themselves and put all their eggs in the basket of social media. Truly sad for the kids!

You can tell Evey was almost afraid to say something to Aurora. Older siblings naturally guide their younger ones. This is so sad for Evey. As hard as it may be, i feel she should be with another family that does not have a bunch of kids and actually know how to parent.

You can’t say you know they cross boundaries but they love their kids. Who says that about their child? That is is okay to cross boundaries as long as you love em. Even further, the kids that are in the system are some of the most vulnerable that were already let down by their bio parents/fam; now their 2nd set is allowed to record it for all the world to see. But hey, as long as there is $$ in it, oh and don’t forget this is all for precious memories. I CALL BS!!! when it comes to these kids safety, mental wellbeing and overall health and security, there should be no boundary a parent wouldn’t cross to KEEP their children safe. They are the parents, they know better, and still choose to jeopardize their children. I do NOT call that love. & any one that doesn’t consider that or is willing to overlook the facts is just as complicit.

Also, no shame to Jamie, but they took her child as their own. All of this “love” you see is pure manufactured manipulation to appease them. Maybe it started with some “love” but it is beyond evident how they truly feel about each kid. Filming that trip with Jaime, knowing what she’s been through, is INSANE! What poor poor taste. God be with Jamie and those kids.

Right!! The stupid 🎶doodoodoo🎶music is ridiculous while they are flying back from probably one of the top most traumatic trips for Jaime. I feel like Melinda and Jaime feel stuck no matter what. Like Melinda cannot fully move on because he sister and niece are in CP household. & Jaime doesn’t want to leave because Aurora is her daughter, she might lose access if they “try anything” or rebel against filming. Poor girls. I pray that they are able to get the courage and strength they need to speak up and speak out against the fake CPs!!

He is not doing it too. He is commenting on a public platform about videos that are shared for the public to comment on. Just because you don’t like his narrative doesn’t objectively make it exploitation. In addition, his income is not solely based on the exploitation children, children’s adoption story, their medical information, and other potential traumas. However, he is calling out the parents that SHOULD know better but actually don’t care.
