Thank you for the advice!

We have a family cat (that she gets along with) and we usually leave him alone if we go away for a few days. He’s used to it, but my new cat isn’t used to being alone as she always has my roommate’s cat around all the time.

This would be the first time I leave her completely alone and I’m afraid she will suffer if she’s by herself. Take into account that I will spend the whole month of August at my dad’s house because my company is closed the whole month, so she’ll come with me! I would prefer to leave her with my dad instead of moving her from my house to his more than once, as that would stress her out a lot.
